fantastic food I but 2 doz at a time

It’s difficult to find anything negative about these Tamales. However, I’ve had better. These are good, convenient and inexpensive; just not the best tasting. I’ll still buy these but not as often.

Not real tamales. Broken leaf not rap. I rap , Masa was not the real masa. Taste not good. . I don’t know who or what made these but the worst I ever eat in 78 years. By far. Nasty.

These I cannot find at my Sam’s Club. When I visit KC, I buy 2 at a time. They freeze well. They are a little dry. Before microwaving, I wrap each one with a wet, not moist, paper towels for approx 3 mins for 2 tamales. My microwave is a lower voltage so you need to play with your to get it right. Better to start with a minute, check them, and go from there so you don’t over do it.

I purchased these with a mid April Sell By date. On March 18, when I opened them to serve for dinner, they were moldy! This is the second time this has happened with Tamales from Sam's. I didn't take them back the last time because we live too far away and the Sell By date would have passed by the next time we made a trip to Sam's. These will be going back tomorrow! Food is too expensive to have to throw it away because it's already moldy weeks before the Sell by Date!

The pork inside was kinda tasty but it looks like beans because it's so ground up. The masa is disgusting. It's so thick and flavorless. I knew when I saw the paper the tamale comes wrapped in that the masa was going to be nasty. Ive been wanting some real tamales since I left EC in Indiana. These won't do. Probably won't purchase again.

They taste good and are an ample size. They are a bit spicy but I like them that way.
