Very authentic taste

I’ve been buying these for years. Now they are dry with too much masa and less meat/sauce filling. Won’t buy them again.

Steamed these, and they were amazing. Many tamales we get in Texas are very dry. These were amazingly moist and quite good. Will buy always from Sam’s in the future,

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These tamales need more red sauce. Although the meat to masa ratio is fine, because of the lack of flavor, all I taste is masa that you have to take a drink to be able to swallow.

Tried these for the first time last night and they were delicious. Loved that they weren’t frozen. I cooked them in a steamer basket and they tasted super homemade.

Sorry to say but these were terrible. They were all masa and very little meat. I am in New Mexico where we get great handmade tamales, but figured I would give these a try. We threw out half the package.

These are good. We have chicken and pork, both with red sauce. Lots of flavor. We used the steam method to heat. Next time we'll use the microwave. We think that is better for the masa.

I've had homemade tamales my whole life and NO LIE these taste just as good if not better than some homemade tamales I've had. Absolutely love these!!! Highly recommend!!

More changed than the look of the a package. They are wrapped in paper and dry out even when steamed. And like everything else not as much filling and flaver. What a shame. Go back to the old recipe
