I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These tamales are fantastic! I followed the microwave instructions and it was cooked thoroughly throughout. They have a good amount of pork which is also kept moist because of the red sauce. These would be great as an entrée for a Mexican dinner or as a snack.

A tiny bit of spice (if you like it a little milder get the chicken ones), great corn flavor, and plenty of meat (sometimes tamales are all masa). My family liked them with a bit of sour cream on a bed of shredded lettuce. Good stuff!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I never had a tamale before so I was excited to try these Del Real pork tamales. There are 10 tamales per package. They are all about the same size and roughly 6 inches long. If you like tamales they are convenient as they only take 1-2 minutes to heat up in the microwave. The flavor is bland though. You can taste some slight spice but not at all what I was expecting since the ingredients list chili peppers and jalapenos in the sauce. I think the biggest problem is the lack of meat. They are very underfilled and the pork is shredded way too thin, it's almost like a meat paste. If someone blindfolded me and made me tell them what meat was in the tamale I wouldn't be able to identify it. I ended up putting some sour cream on my tamales and that helped with the flavor a lot.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Pork tamales are good and easy to make. Ready in just a few minutes using the microwave. I do think it needed some added salt and/or some salsa or hot sauce for added flavor. I was pleased with the portion size too.

I lived in California up till 20 yrs ago and these tamales are as close to the ones I got when I was there. I love them, I would love to have them back in the stores PLEASE!!!!! I really would like management to call me or email me as why you no longer carry them..

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This was my first time trying tamales and I was unsure what to expect. I followed the instructions and cooked these in the microwave for the time it said, but they were still cold so I had to heat them for a little while longer. Since I was a newbie, I didn't realize you take off the little corn wrapper first (I know, silly me). When I took my first bite it was really bland, it was supposed to be filled with pork, but I could barely taste it. As I kept eating it, it was falling apart. I decided to add some sour cream and salsa to try and give it a little more flavor, which helped a little, but not a lot. I was a little disappointed and wouldn't buy these again.

I was not happy at all. These were tough and flavorless. I will not buy them again.
