I got this set just before the April 2024 solar eclipse. I was delighted when it arrived before we left home for a music festival and then our eclipse chase here in Missouri. It sat on a table outside our hotel room in Boonville as it gradually seemed to assemble itself through the weekend. I did not consider myself an Expert at Lego until seeing the few pieces our actual Senior Mechanical Engineer (and our driver) added. When I had to redo his efforts I gave my self-rating a bump up. For a free-builder like myself, this model required some concentration, but was very much worth it. In the travelling a piece or 2 went missing, which at home were easily replaced from my collection. That said, this set seemed to have a fair number of unique pieces. Overall, a great buy. Kudos to the designers. Most impressive!

I loved the building experience of this and I love how it does so much with quite little pieces

This is a fun build that does not take to long to finish. It looks great and is quite enjoyable watching the Earth spin and go around the sun.

Impressed by the model in general, the only thing I found funny was how America was printed since the equator seems to go across Mexico

Although not a long build, it was a lot of fun to put together. This is a great display piece if you are a fan of anything space, and the mechanism will amaze you! Once completed it runs extremely smoothly. I would definitely recommend this set!

A fascinate build that is challenging. Excellent design that is a great representation of the interaction between the Sun, Earth and Moon. A great teaching aid for my grandchildren.

After buying many age-appropriate sets for my daughters, I enjoyed the modest challenge this build offered. And they loved turning the gears and watching the rotation of earth and moon.

Love the idea. My son is full on into space right now so what better way to get him excited than to build his own orbiting Earth. Looking forward to more sets like this. We love Legos!!

This was my first total Technic build and I was so delighted that it worked every step along the way, and glad that my progress could be checked. I will enjoy sharing the lessons with my granddaughters.

I understand this is nitpicking and has nothing to do with the build. However, as a mechanical project that is also supposed to be educational: shouldn't you have made this set according to actual measurements? Our MOON orbits the EARTH from the approximate distance of 30 times the diameter of EARTH. This is like teaching kids the rules of baseball using a 7 1/2 foot tall baseball….
