I loved building this set. Plus, it was very easy to motorize (easy to find on the internet), which I highly recommend doing. The orbital movements are beautiful! I like this so much that I now wish LEGO would come out with the entire Solar System as a large Technic Adults Welcome build! Go for it, LEGO!

This was a great gift for my 7 year old son who loves Legos. He was able to do it all by himself and it took about 2 hours. This is the one Lego set that he hasn't taken apart immediately after because it's really cool and actually rotates/orbits. Perfect, too, for kiddos learning about space.

I've had this set on my wishlist for a while now. Every time I see it in stores I just WANT it so badly!!! Finally made the purchase, and I'm so happy! Watching it come together was such a joy...sure, it was a bit tricky (a few times I had to triple check a step) but it looks so cool! Definitely in my top 10 favorite sets!

5 different rotations all being controlled by one crank. It's incredibly accurate! My only beef and it's very subtle... the phases of the moon are depicted from the southern hemisphere and without using scissors on the stickers, there isn't much you can do. I think Lego should offer a northern hemisphere sticker set.

It's a fun build. I would like it if there was a way to show I labeled and did everything correctly. How do I know the earth and moon phases are correct? I also very much dislike having to apply stickers.

My kids love this set. My oldest figured to spin the sun to speed through the years. Honestly, I prefer reeling in the years. Just another joy with extreme replay value.

this was so much fun to build. Directions are awesome. The end result blows my mind. So fun to build with my 10-year-old Actually thinking about buying another set just to enjoy building it again.

Our grandson is truly in to Legos and showed his deep appreciation for this Christmas gift! We are awaiting for his rapid completion of the setup and pictures !

My 8 year old loved putting it together so much that he almost immediately took it all apart again so that he could put it back together again. It is also a really neat demonstration of the movement of the solar system

Our 9-year-old loves this and it has helped understand rotation of the Sun, Moon, and Earth. Even cooler that it aligns with each month of the year. Best gift we've bought in a long time.
