I would highly recommend this specific trimmer, the reason being that you would always want to look good and for that this is the perfect tool. Completely waterproof and now I don't visit the barber every fortnight. Kind of high priced but once in a lifetime purchase with 5 years warranty!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the multi grooming 9000. It is very versatile, I use it to cut my hair, as well as shave my face and it is saving me lots of money, especially on razor blades. It holds the charge for a long time so when I'm traveling, I feel confident not to take the charger with me. I have only used a portion of all the accessories that came with it, and so far I am very happy. As usual Phillips products are the best.

My main concern with this device is the placement of the power on/off button. The device has a nice non-slip black rubber pad for the thumb or index finger, but right under that pad is is an extremely sensitive power switch, which I find is extremely easy to touch when using the device. There is also no nice container, other than a small bag, to hold all the many attachments.

I'm happy with the battery and the razor power. The downside is too many pieces that essentially do the same thing. Could remove some with adjustable pieces and instead add more useful ones. The biggest disappointment is the pouch. Cannot nearly deal with so many pieces with one main pocket and two extra zips.

The Philips Multigroom series 7000 is a quality product that feels comfortable in the users hand and performs as expected. I would certainly recommend this product though I also acknowledge a few minor design flaws. 1. The handle, while well built and comfortable to use, is slippery and requires added attention when adjusting your grip so you don't end up dropping it. 2. The blades, when being used directly on the scalp for an extra fine trim, scratch a more than other brands we've tried. I advise a more gentle touch. 3. The placement of the on/off button is not great! This is probably my biggest complaint as adjustments in my grip usually leads to the button being hit and the tool being turned off. The slippery handle does not help here!

Works great! My biggest complaint is being able to read the guard sizes. Who thought this was a good idea to put grey text on a grey background? A contrasting letter color (black) would make it more legible. The design team needs to correct this oversight. I'm not a senior citizen either, so don't blame my eyesight.

I recently used a philips norelco multigroom 9000shaver, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. While it generally performed well in terms of trimming , I got a cut on my face during use, which was unexpected. I followed the usual precautions, but it seems the blades were a bit too aggressive for my skin. I had to stop, clean the cut, and treat it, which wasn't ideal. Philips products are usually reliable, but this experience left me concerned about the safety of this model. I hope future designs are more skin-friendly to prevent such

Even if I can't tell, I do not doubt that all of the ads are right and it works great, etc. What they do not say is the big issue here: you have lots of attachments, and a larger head, but just a few of them work on it. Most of the attachments work only with the smaller head, and good luck in finding one good. Apart from one adjustable, since the trimmer itself is not adjustable, you will have a hard time looking for the right piece, and the options are very limited. Also, if you travel, you will have to bring lots of stuff with you for no reason.

I was liking its stainless design, but battery is sucks, run time only 20 to 30 minutes.
