Product wouldn't charge when plugged in. Ruled out an outlet problem by plugging something else into same outlet. Ended up returning it to my point-of-sale for a refund. Also, packaging was horrible. Slid out the plastic “tray” and all the attachments fell out onto my desk. The only thing secured on the “tray” was the shaver itself.

Good so far. Only had it for a month now. One minor glitch is when removing the attachments the position of my fingers will activate the "ON" button. Also, when traveling there is no means to lock the "ON" button so in a soft sided bag it doesn't take much pressure to turn it on and it's so quiet you can't hear it running inside your bag. Arrived for holiday expecting full charge and it was totally drained, with no cord on hand to recharge.

Now, rather than shaving every 4 days as in the recent years, i just trim every 4 - 5 days... Compliments come of it as well. I see many men wearing stubble the last few years...figure it is time to join them. Spouse asks if i am growing a mustache.. No! but looks like i might be. The multigroomer 9000 works well for me. Great product... Christmas present from the mrs... took a while to get used to but I love the 10yr warranty and im becoming more used to it than my old electric shaver. Charge is good and the unit feels solid - perfect for sculpting. I'm sure there is much more to come with this bad boy - I just have to get used to it!!!

I recently used a philips norelco multigroom 9000shaver, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. While it generally performed well in terms of trimming , I got a cut on my face during use, which was unexpected. I followed the usual precautions, but it seems the blades were a bit too aggressive for my skin. I had to stop, clean the cut, and treat it, which wasn't ideal. Philips products are usually reliable, but this experience left me concerned about the safety of this model. I hope future designs are more skin-friendly to prevent such

I was surprised by how uneven and patchy this razor left my stubble…even with a guard on! After shaving, I had several bald patches and it looked so bad, I tried to buzz the whole thing down with no guard. But then that left me with awful razor burn. I don't even know how that happened…have never had the experience with an electric shaver before.

The Philips-Norelco Multigroom 9000 is easy to use and the included attachments provide you with everything you need to meet your personal grooming needs. The batter y life is awesome. I am still on the initial charge and it seems as though I have gotten way more than 6 hours of usage. It is pretty quiet while operating and the fact that it can be used in the shower makes it extremely versatile and convenient. It's a lightweight tool so there is no struggling to reach awkward places that need trimming or shaving. By far, the best investment I have made in the area of personal grooming.

The Philips Multigroom series 7000 is a quality product that feels comfortable in the users hand and performs as expected. I would certainly recommend this product though I also acknowledge a few minor design flaws. 1. The handle, while well built and comfortable to use, is slippery and requires added attention when adjusting your grip so you don't end up dropping it. 2. The blades, when being used directly on the scalp for an extra fine trim, scratch a more than other brands we've tried. I advise a more gentle touch. 3. The placement of the on/off button is not great! This is probably my biggest complaint as adjustments in my grip usually leads to the button being hit and the tool being turned off. The slippery handle does not help here!
