Make sure to fully charge your Philips Groomer before using it for the first time. We recommend charging Ni-MH battery-powered gadgets for three hours the first time around even if their typical charging duration is one hour. Your groomer's display can have an indicator for charging depending on the model. Recharge your groomer when the battery indication indicates that it is almost empty. If your groomer lacks a battery indication, you should charge it whenever it starts to operate more slowly than usual or when the speed of the trimming is no longer acceptable. A groomer that is completely charged can be used several times before needing to be recharged. It will take more work for your Philips Groomer to trim or cut your hair if it is really thick or long on your head, beard, or other areas. In this situation, the groomer's battery can drain more quickly than usual. Use a groomer that has been completely charged to make sure you have enough battery for an entire trimming session. This could be caused by various reasons: - If your hair is thick, then the groomer requires more effort and this causes a quicker battery exhaustion; - The groomer needs to be charged for 3 hours before the first use; - Your groomer requires regular cleaning to function properly.
