[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Samsung QLED 4K. Picture is slightly improved from the Q60A. Crisp picture and clean sound through the Samsung sound bar. I'm not a gamer, so this is a great television for me. I am NOT, however, a fan of the solar powered remote. It's been finicky since Day 1 either appearing to not be charged or requiring "re-pairing" to fully function. No charging cable was included with the Q60B so I had to purchase one separately. The batteries in the Q60A remote seemed to last a very long time so I'm not sure there's an overwhelming advantage to this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hooked up to cable via Sony AV receiver and Polk speakers. Really impressed with how it upgrades 720 and 1080 content, even old black/white movies. Colors pop and contrast greatly improved over old 82” edge lit model it replaced. Even though hooked up to surround sound system, don't use it unless watching recent movies as the internal speakers are quite good. Added bonus is the center stand (vs at the edges of the TV) allowed me to use existing console for such a large TV saving me hundreds.

New TV is lightweight enough that my husband and myself were able to re-mount the TV ourselves using the existing bracket. Remote control and menu is fairly intuitive so did not have any issues from the get-go. The native streaming apps works well/quickly thanks to larger internal memory. Good dark/black contrast and crisp display for high action movies (like Marvel). I did disable image smoothing and use direct ethernet connection to TV instead of WiFi to give the TV priority traffic. I did not do a complicated audio set up for my living room, only bought the Samsung sound bar and base speaker, everything works great together, it didn't take me hours to setup, and everyone is happy.

There are a lot of options and for the most part it is efficient but I do think navigation could be improved. The multiple applications and Samsung TV can take long to select, typing is odd with how fast it will zoom the key selection zips across the keyboard. A lot of times I'll accidentally select the wrong app, key, etc. because of this making it less efficient. This is something I've gotten used to so I can navigate it well but for others who use my TV they notice and comment so it reminds me of my first experiences with the TV. Besides that, the picture quality, sound quality, and physical appearance of the TV have been great. Set up was a breeze. I would rate 4 of 5 stars and would get another TV since I am used to it's navigation now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV for a wide range of usages. This Samsung Q8 can produce deep and uniform dark scenes when viewed in a dark room. Local dimming is also decent at reducing blooming and producing bright highlights. Motion handling is great, and the response time is fast so motion is clear. It isn't perfect though, as the image loses accuracy when viewed at an angle and some dirty screen is visible, especially when watching sports. Have an amazing Sound system and didn't even bothered to buy a separate Sound bar.

And the speakers on this tv are the best speakers I have ever heard from a built in speaker. I also bought it for gaming and the 120Hz. I am very impressed by this tv and would definitely recommend it!

However a few functional problems keep me from giving it 5 stars. — the Netflix app simply doesn't load, I'd say at least 25% of the time. I have to reboot the entire tv just to get it to show up. This is a common and ongoing problem according to my online searches. — it takes way too many steps to switch audio output.

Sometimes I feel I am looking out a window and seeing this scene as it is in real life. I get totally taken away to where all I see is that fantastic image in front of me and nothing else. Samsung makes the most awesome product and I wouldn't even think of looking anywhere else.

My brother loves to play his video games in it and my home is the new spot for movie fridays! The sound of the tv is also great, that means you'll have the full experience when wathing it. Streaming options are enough but you can always connect another streaming device. The control remote comes in a perfect size. I would totally recommend!!!
