Nobody should buy this. I bought it and threw in freezer but onky next day I realized that half of the cloves were rotten and added disgusting rotten flavor to dish, then I observed all cloves in the whole bag and had to trash. Buy smaller bags in Aldi.

I tried this garlic recently for the first time. As soon as I opened the bag I could got the scent of chlorine/bleach. I did use the garlic and it just didn't have much flavor. Shortly afterwards, abou a week after purchasing, the garlic became somewhat discolored with what can be described a warts growing on it.... just very unsightly and unappetizing. Not sure if that prevented use, but I tossed it... I do not recommend this product. Save your cash and buy whole garlic in bulb form.

I have bought this product twice. The first time, the product started growing mold within a week of opening. I figured I had just bought a bad bag because it was within 3 weeks of the use by date. I really have to watch what I buy at Sam's because multiple times I have purchased items near or past their expiration date, and they were not special buys. The second time I purchased this item, the garlic was molded when I opened the bag. It was 6 weeks to the expiration date, and I had just gotten it home. I will not purchase this again.

I've bought the big bags of peeled garlic cloves numerous times. I normally put them in a ziploc bag in my freezer so they'll keep a long time. I've never had any issues with an overly-powerful odor like this time. It was so strong I could smell it in the refrigerator! Do they normally irradiate them and that's why they don't smell so strong? Or were these just not kept cold enough in the store and went bad? I had to toss them and get a refund.

This is an awesome bag of garlic! BUT... If you aren't going to use it all within a few weeks then separate it into zip lock bags and freeze it. It will get moldy and end up wasted otherwise. Sometimes it starts molding pretty quick so I recommend to freeze it as soon as you get home. But yeah great flavor and not having to peel, I love it.

Over the years, I have bought Spice World Fresh Peeled Garlic 3 lbs. The last two purchases, however, I have thrown away due to mold and rot Quality has declined to the point of being unsafe. I will never buy the product again. From now on I will buy quality fresh garlic elsewhere eventhough I must peel the cloves.

It would have been great to have so many bulbs of garlic peeled. I blend and freeze but i had to remove the bad ones. Some I kept whole in an airtight container. Days later they were molded. Ill stick with the international market. Never had this much of a problem.

For those of you who don’t understand and are ragging on this product, it literally is fresh cloves of garlic. So imagine you just peeled a bunch of fresh cloves of garlic and put it in a Ziploc bag. Overtime, it’s definitely going to spoil. You need to use your fresh garlic within a certain period of time. Why do you expect Sam’s Club to be miracle workers or wizards here? So many people ragging on this product because it goes bad after a period of time. You’re ridiculous. That’s like saying my tomatoes went bad after two weeks.

already peeled Garlic to save you time and hassle. But it's a 50/50 you might buy a perfect bag but you might buy a bag with a lot of moldy garlic, and it's hard to know before you open the bag. I would prefer to take the chance instead of peeling garlic, so recommended.

Very happy with this garlic! After purchasing it, I bring it straight home and dump out the whole bag checking for anything that looks bad. Then I immediately put the whole bag in the freezer. When I need garlic, I pull a few cloves out to thaw for a few minutes or just add the whole clove to a dish I'm baking and it's great!
