The new formula does have a slightly different scent than I remember but it still smells baby fresh; just in a softer, updated way. Nothing overpowering at all. What I really love is how moisturizing it is. It keeps baby's skin soft, smooth, and hydrated, and honestly….it works just as well on my own skin too. During the cold winter months, this lotion is a lifesaver for dryness. It absorbs well, doesn't feel greasy, and leaves skin feeling protected and nourished without any irritation. A trusted classic that still delivers comfort and moisture for the whole family, it's worth it to have on hand at all times.

I have never ever left a review on a product. But the new formula is horrible. The after feeling is gross and sticky . I have used this product for years and this is the second time they have changed the formula and it's gotten worse each time. The product now feels cheap.

They just recently changed this lotion again for the worse this time! No more original baby scent.....it smels like a floral scent that does not last on the skin. It's awful! For all of us who have used this product since the 60's 70's and now used it on my kids back in the 80's it's no longer the nice sweet baby scent! They took away the baby scent in the shampoo, then took the powder away, now the lotion!

I just grabbed my new bottle after running out of the old one. I like using it at night, because it soothes my dry skin and I love the scent. So I was unpleasantly surprised to smell this awful cream come out of the bottle. It's so strongly scented, that it stunk like someone took an 80's extra strong hair spray and turned it into a baby lotion and runny, too. I can still smell it on my today. NOBODY will want this on their baby! WHO would do this??

I absolutely hate this new formula. I am on the spectrum and have sensory issues with dry skin, but also do not like when lotion leaves me feeling greasy or wjen it has a very overpowering smell. I have religiously bought the classic baby lotion for years as it was nice and thick, but absorbed really well. I just bought a new bottle today and I HATE it. It leaves my skin feeling greasy and slimy and leaves a smell like Elmers glue. Please reconsider this new formula. No part of it is an improvement.

My family has been using Johnson's Baby lotion for years. I bought a new bottle a few weeks ago to restock but realized it was a new formula when using it. There's a stronger scent, almost like they dumped baby powder into it. My 2 year old started having a reaction to it all over his face and body. Luckily we had some lotion left over in an old bottle and also used a different brand to see if it would help clear his skin, which it did. But now we have to try and find something else that will work for my kiddos and I.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I wasn't a fan because it starts off with a sticky feeling which is a big pet peeve of mine - but - once you begin to rub it in and let it dry down, it leaves the most buttery soft touch ! almost like velvet !! I love this lotion - it has an amazing smell and the pump on the bottle has a lock feature for traveling or everyday storage so no messes are made !! We have been using for a few days now and we love it so much !!!

The smallest dollop can easily go head to toe for baby. Takes a little while to dry down, but once it does it's so smooth. The new pump style is a great addition and effortlessly dispenses the product.
