This has the original scent of baby lotion for those who have been searching. The pump works smoothly and perfectly. It came wrapped carefully and protected inside a box. I have been looking for the old Johnson's baby lotion with the original scent. The only ones that have the original scent are the ones that do NOT say Aloe and B5 on the front of the bottle. This size and the smallest ones are the only 2 sizes that I could find that do not have these printed on the front of the bottle. The one I love is the one that used to come in a tube. Even the regular sized bottles used to come out as a thick lotion. This and the purse size are not thick therefore not as moisturizing.

Looks massive and is the same great product we've come to expect. BUT just like bags of potato chips it is no where near full and runs out long before you expect it to. The amount is clearly stated so not deceptive in that respect. Just know that what you see is not what you expect. Still happy with it for the price and will purchase again.

There is no way this was a team agreement. This classic line was loved for decades by millions and it was a product that stood the test of time. This is very disheartening. Anyone looking to find a replacement product that smells the same can join the reddit threads and social platforms dedicated to this new change and help to find a new brand.

I don't like the new and improved lotion it has a completely different texture and sent. I can't believe this change! I grew up using this baby lotion. My son does not want me to put this lotion on his face because the sent makes him nauseous and it makes his face feel watery, sticky and itchy! I was so excited I'm finally having a grandbaby and couldn't wait to have my baby smell like baby Johnson lotion. I guess that will not happen! This smell like the magic lotion! Please bring back original formula!!!!

I've bought Johnsons lotion (original) for 45 years. It is my favorite smell in the world....... Now I have to say, it WAS. I just grabbed and bought, then applied and OMG, awful awful awful. The smell, feel, is terrible. Leave a film and the smell is nauseating. Why did you change something that was PERFECT? Why not leave this alone? You would be better off just make a new product. Bring back the original sent......PLEASE!!!

If I could give this less than one star I definitely would! This new formula is horrible. It smells bad and leaves skin feeling like there is a film on it! I'm so disappointed! Why fix something that's not broke? Apparently it was changed “to meet millennial parents' demands for simpler, more natural, and transparent ingredients” but what about us parents that have always used and loved the product we had! You would've been better off just creating a new lotion for them and leave the one you had alone and have 2 separate products. I have used this lotion for years and it was the best but safe to say Johnson's baby has lost a customer because like I said this new formula is horrible!

I have very sensitive skin and this is the only lotion that works to keep me moisturized and not leave my skin a mess. But then this new 2025 formula comes out and I hoped it would be similar to the old formula but boy was I wrong. Not only has the feel of the lotion changed, but the smell and quality have as well. It is now super sticky until it drys down, which took quite a while, the smell is super baby powdery and is very overwhelming. Plus, call me crazy but my skin feels dryer as if I hadn't put anything on. Johnsons, why change one of your BEST products? If it ain't broke don't fix it. I will not be buying or recommending this to anyone unless the old formula comes back. :(

The new version has a noticeably strong floral fragrance, which is very different from the clean, traditional “baby lotion” smell your customers associate with Johnson & Johnson. In addition, the updated formula seems to dry out my skin rather than leaving it soft and hydrated. This is particularly concerning for a product intended for delicate baby skin. I respectfully request that Johnson & Johnson reconsider this formula change and return to the previous version, or offer it as an alternative option. The original formula's light scent and reliable moisture made it a staple in many households, including mine.

Extremely disappointed with the change to Johnson's baby lotion formula. It is simply too strong and I would NEVER expose a baby to this scent. Why in the world would you change this product. I've been buying since my kids were little and have continued using (have a bottle in every room in the winter). I will not be buying anymore as the new formula stinks and feels gross and drying from too much perfumes. Please change back, no one in my household likes the new formula. If you don't change back make both available, I would imagine you'll see the old formula will be much more popular with its light and gentle scent.

Please please brink back the Johnsons Baby Lotion original have use it an bought it for years an years. We did not only use on kids we used as well.. had tons of it as just recently ran out now can't find it anywhere… please bring back the original one and the same texture as before. I don't understand why if it's not broke why fix!! I'm sure many people miss the old original scent!!
