Just bought baby lotion and noticed the new packaging with a new formula label. Let's just say it doesn't compare to the old formula. I don't like the new scent at all. It is too strong and it leave a flowery smell that lingers on my baby boys. The old formula left them smelling like baby. Also the new formula seems thinner and not as hydrating on the skin. Unless the old formula is brought back I will be changing to a different brand unfortunately.

I bought the pink and purple baby lotion with the new formula today. The pink bottle smell is awful. And both lotions are greasy and are sticky. I would not use this again. Before the new formula, I used both everyday, multiple times a day. This was a big disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a really nice baby lotion. It has a lightweight consistency. The scent is like baby powder it also smells slightly floral. It lasted a full 12 hours on a hot day in Egypt without any touch-ups. I'm overall impressed and satisfied with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way it’s not too thick or too watery! It’s perfect for kids, doesn’t leave any residue, it has a nice dispense because it doesn’t push out too much! And it doesn’t cause irritation with my kids !

The new formula as of December 2025 is horrible. It smells gross and it’s watery. I feel like once it dries my skin feels like I never even used lotion. I have used this lotion for 30 years and used it on my kids but unless the formula changes I willl never buy it again. Which is said because I would have picked this lotion over anything.

I've been using Johnson's baby lotion for decades. The recent reformulation (with added aloe) is horrible. It has a heavy floral scent and the feeling on my hands after using it is like I have a residue that needs to be washed off. Huge mistake. Lost me as a customer.

Just replenished our bottle. What a disappointment! Didn't see it said "new formula" on bottle. You will immediately notice after your first use. This new formula reminds me of much cheaper brands. Not a better formula. I can see a company updating labels to add QR codes etc. But then also notice the small print on back bottom. There is also a new company name KENVUE Brands (No longer has Johnson's there on back bottom as it does on my previous bottle-I still had) I wasn't going to return as I had opened. But since they ALSO changed company names along with this new formula, now it all makes sense. Everything's changed ... deceptive I will be returning.

I like the lotion for treating my dry skin, but I would rather have it be scent free. This new floral type scent has some real hang time and lasts for quite a while. It starts to get annoying after a while. Other members of my family are sensitive to odors and stop using the lotion. Please change it back !!
