I’ve used the original baby lotion for 40 plus years, on my children and as an adult. So many people I know both men and women that use it also. We are all so disappointed with the texture, and smell. I wasn’t too happy with the past new formula with the coconut oil, but I’d take that over the latest one.

I bought a few bottles of the lotion thinking I was getting the last of the old formula, but to my disappointing surprise, it was the new formula. I absolutely abhor the new formula. It smells nothing like a baby should smell. It is unpleasant and has a chemical smell to it. There was nothing wrong with the original baby scent. Why change a good thing? Now, I have to search for a better alternative. #BRINGBACKTHEOLDSCENT!

It arrived quickly, and smells great but the bottle was between a noticeable 1/4 - 1/3 emty ( at minimum). I checked the seal, packaging, and the box it came in but there was no spillage. So I have to pesume it was packed that way at the manufacturer.

Extremely disappointed with the change to Johnson’s baby lotion formula. It is simply too strong and I would NEVER expose a baby to this scent. Why in the world would you change this product. I’ve been buying since my kids were little and have continued using (have a bottle in every room in the winter). I will not be buying anymore as the new formula stinks and feels gross and drying from too much perfumes. Please change back, no one in my household likes the new formula. If you don’t change back make both available, I would imagine you’ll see the old formula will be much more popular with its light and gentle scent.

I am really disappointed with the new Johnson & Johnson baby lotion. I have used this baby lotion for over 50 years. The texture feels sticky on the skin. Even after rubbing it in, it leaves an uncomfortable residue that doesn’t absorb well. The smell is also unpleasant and not what I’d expect from a baby product. Rather than a clean, gentle scent, it has an odd fragrance. For a lotion marketed for babies and sensitive skin, this was especially disappointing. Overall, this reformulation is a letdown. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be purchasing it again unless changes are made to improve both the texture and the scent.

My skin feels great for 24 hours and the smell is simple but nice. My skin feels better then before, my babies skin feels so soft. You are missing out if you don’t use this lotion. I’m in love!

The new formula has a smell of OFF Mosquito Spray. I used to LOVE this product. I will NEVER buy this lotion again unless you change it back or offer the original non-chemical, non-bug spray smelling lotion. DO NOT BUY THIS NEW CHEMICAL SMELLING LOTION!!!

It didn’t cause any allergies or irritation, even on very sensitive skin. The texture is light, absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin deeply hydrated and smooth for hours. Perfect for babies and even adults with sensitive skin.

The new formula stinks, literally! I don't know why you would change a perfectly good, classic product. I've used it since I was fourteen and it was the perfect lotion. Smooth, lightly scented, just right! But the new formula is watery but sticky at the same time, and the scent is atrocious! So strong and overpowering, like the soap in a public bathroom. Until you change it back I will take my business elsewhere.
