Love my series 7 /65

I love Samsung products and thing to buy a Samsung phone note 20

Great picture

uograded from a 37" insignia to this 50" samsung. much better picture quality, and it is so convenient having our apps on the tv so we dont need to cast anymore. my only trouble is that the tv does not recognize our comcast cable box, so the remote does not work as a universal remote for the cable.

Works great

So when we knew we needed a new TV for our kids we automatically looked for Samsung. So to be able to find a newer TV for such a convient price we knew it was a must. All in all this is a great TV.

Really?

i own 2 other samsung tv s (not crystal) and i don't see any difference in quality or clarity of the picture. the remote sucks. you want the volume on 17? press button 17 times, you must press the key each and every time u want to adjust volume, change channel, back up and replay youtube videos. i prefer easy remotes. you press and hold buttons and they keep changing until you release.

Really, only two problems...

i'm reasonably happy with my 60" model. the picture is fantastic, especially with 4k input. however, when i turn the tv on, it tries to open my attached blu-ray player and start with that every time. it happens even if i physically disconnect the blu-ray, it still opens with the hdmi source screen and i have to manually change the input...every time! very annoying. my second problem is that this model seemingly only allows a single pair of bluetooth headphones to be connected at a time. my wife and i would both like to listen with headphones at the same time. doesn't samsung realize that more than one person would want to listen at a time? extremely annoying!

Great features & awesome picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I often use airplay to connect to my laptop, iPad, and phone to my TV, and the connection is always quick and easy, and the picture quality isn't lost! I also love how easy it is to customize my home screen with the apps that I use most often.

Smart and speedy TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan on Samsung TVs for some time now. Of the available smart Tv's their user platform for loading and navigating between the different apps is great. I have also been impressed with how quickly the TV loads up, and in particular how quickly it is to boot up the internet connection and start any streaming app that is selected. It is also convenient that the TV is capable of communicating with Alexa and supports most if not all steaming programs, which makes it easier for me to go cord free and use the TV as an entertainment hub.

Turns Back on Randomly

We bought two Samsung tvs, and each has a nice picture and good sound, but each also has a super weird and off-putting habit of randomly turning back on after we turn them off. We will go to bed, and all of a sudden minutes later the tv comes back on all by itself, with nothing anywhere near the remote. Super weird. Don't like that problem.

Hi JAM JPM, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing an issue where your TV turns itself on. 1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds. 2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage. 3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet. 4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. 5. Disable the Power On with Mobile option. TVs that can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. If the TV continues to turn on by itself continuously, please contact our Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Not as good as my old Samsung TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to update my tv and got a TU7000 and loved my older version so I thought this one would be just as easy Nope, I find it more difficult that needs to be and can't download some apps that I wanted and your Samsung TV app seems to dominate the tv sometimes and wish I could delete it. I bought a Toshiba for my bedroom and it's a breeze to program and with the Samsung you have to be a professional to set up and etc... I bought this since my last one was so easy to use but I can't say that for this one. I think when I go to replace it I will go with another brand that is more user friendly.

We suggest you try the following: 1. Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible 2. Try wired LAN if available 3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update. You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences. Go to Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. Additionally, to optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
