Must have as a Samsung consumer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the 75" about a few months back. I'm enjoying the experience I have within the Samsung ecosystem. I have a phone and buds that work perfect with it. The tap n connect feature is so convenient. I would like to see a connection feature like this with my buds, maybe a newer model does. My phone has a constant notification for the remote so I always can control it when stepping away as well. I like the overlay of bringing up the home menu and never missing something I may be watching.

Great picture, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has a fantastic picture, even though it is only used for up to 1080p (no 4k) and the menus is pretty simple to navigate. My only complaint is with the HDMI ports. This TV replaced a six year old Samsung Plasma TV and I never had any problems with the HDMI ports on it. I have used a wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver on the plasma TV as the TV is not co-located with the cable receiver and it worked perfectly. But no matter how I tried to connect the same wireless HDMI receiver/transmitter to this model, it just wouldn't work. I googled the problem and tried all of the so-called fixes but none of them worked either. So I contacted the support folks and explained this to them and all they said was that the HDMI ports weren't designed to work with wireless connections. So, now I have a 25' HDMI cable running from the cable receiver to the TV, which is less than ideal. I have ready many online posts that attribute this problem, and others, to the Tizen chipset used in this line of TV products but I'm no expert and have no idea if that is the root of the problem.

Smart tv- hardly

the software on this tv is so bad. operating this tv is a frustrating event each and every time. 1. “smart” feature which is supposed to return to last viewed app does not work, has never worked. it defaults to samsung content or sponsored content. i removed the samsung channel but cannot removed the sponsored content. 2. i am not allowed access to change picture size. there is text there but it is faded and will not let me use it. great idea, samsung!!! 3. device care not always available. many times it is faded and i cannot access. great idea samsung!!! 4. this software is poorly thought out and weak.

Great Picture, Slow Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm going to skip listing all the items I like, as most everything is great, the picture sound, etc. I will dive into my 3 issues that I have with this TV, and maybe it is just because this is a little lower on the lineup of all their TVs. First The app does not work, I have downloaded it to my phone, and I get nothing - it never connects, and it sucks. I see online from other reviews that this is a pretty standard issue. I'm not running Samsung but if I was I would not have "Download the app" be the first thing when doing the TV setup if the app does not even work. Second the volume response from the remote is way too sensitive, if I hold it for 1 second it goes down by 1, if I hold it for 2 seconds, it goes down by like 15-20 - because of this I have to click it a bunch of times to change the volume, however if the volume button clicks are too close together then it will make a huge jump again. Finally the processor is slow, like really slow. When you turn on the TV and are going to select the app you would like, for example your preferred streaming service - it has a pretty long lag / latency between click, and when it actually moves the selected icon. It is bothersome enough that I have had the correct icon selected, and then when I push the OK button it hops over to the next app and opens that one up.

First 4k TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first 4K tv ever and I didn't realize how much clearer televisions can be! This TV works flawlessly and I love how I can use Airplay and Dex on here. It has the apps I want and need and provides exceptionally detailed videos when playing my games or watching YouTube in HDR content.

Was good while it lasted...

i bought it november 2020. now it's jan 2022, this morning the tv screen went black and appears to keep turning on and off. remote controller's not working, nor does the power button. the previous tv we owned from different brand lasted well over 6 or 7 years and it didn't have technical problem when we decided to change tv either. i'm not sure if it's just i'm unlucky with this product or are the smart tvs nowadays all have short lives... but i'm pretty disappointed , as this was our first smart tv and i loved all the functions.

Great Picture, Obnoxious User Interface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first Smart TV purchase and I must say that the picture quality is stunning. The colors are vibrant and watching my favorite movies is now a new experience on this TV. The biggest drawback that takes some getting used to is the User Interface. I am not a fan. When you turn the TV on, the “homepage” takes some getting used to. I guess I had high expectations being an Amazon Firestick user as well. It would be nice if the homepage was cleaner.

Crystal UHD quite a difference from LED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family bought this Crystal UHD to replace our older Samsung. The LED back light went out after 9 yrs. This 50” was only 4“ bigger than the previous TV, but with the reduced size of the border made a huge difference. The clarity of the UHD was significant compared to the LED. We didn't realize how much of an improvement there was between LED to the Crystal UHD. We've always loved our Samsung products that we've bought over the years and will keep buying their products with commitment to quality and longevity.
