slow to connect to apps. disconnects from internet for no reason. freezes during streaming. there also seems to be an issue between this model tv and pandora with constant skipping during songs. this issue has been heavily discussed on pandora's forums. all the issues i mentioned could be related to my internet provider, however, i've had no changes with my provider, so i'm not going to blame them. to me, this is solely related to this television. i usually buy sony but was encouraged by a friend to get a samsung. i should have stayed with what i know. i won't buy samsung again.

went with samsung because its a popular suposedly high end brand, i dont notice that much of a better picture than cheaper brands. the set up was annoying, it recomended thag you use the app as the “easier set up” download and app, set up an account, then it still wasnt working right. the app itself is awful, opnly tv app i have seen thag doesnt open a keyboard when searching something. after set up the entire menus and changing sources is annoying, annoying menus stay on screen excessively long. biggest issue is being my bedroom tv you need to go through 4 sections of settings to find the sleep timer… really wish i hadnt disposed of the box as it would be being returned for sure.

My grandkids love to watch the Disney channel and me I love National Geographic and Sports. But I have a surround sound connected so when I watch Netflix or any movies channel I get a theater kind of experience that's out of this world lol! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Samsung tv and I'm just overall impressed with these tvs. I love the free Samsung tv plus feature with tons of great shows and movies. The smart things app is amazing too! I can control the tv from another room and even allows me to monitor what my kid is watching, the volume, and if I misplace my remote I can just pull up the app and use that as a remote. What really draws me in is the picture quality and how lightweight the tvs are; not bulky and obnoxious looking.

I can hook it to my phone and manage it in my phone too which is a great component for me to control the tv that's my son has access too.

It allows me to download and sign in to every single one of my streaming apps (including Britbox and Acorns would you believe!!!). It will remember every you left off on certain programming and continue from there when you switch it back on (great for YouTube). On the other hand, you can tell it's a budget TV when you pick it up... very plastic. I accidentally peeled the corner of the polarizing screen layer because I assumed it was a screen protector m if it wasn't so brittle I may have done irreparable damage. Also, the Smart TV UI makes it a little tricky to find apps. It could be redesigned to be less cluttered and more intuitive. Overall, it's a great buy if you are in a budget. I imagine it's perfect for college kids.
