Perfect!

Great picture & smart features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased two to replace older Vizio TV's that were not smart...wanted 4K and smart built in to make streaming easier...we are pretty loyal to Samsung TV's...had a 75" QLED and replaced with an 82" QLED...also have an older 43" Plasma...originally purchased two LG, had a better sale price and a good picture but strangely the LG did not allow the ESPN streaming app so we returned and got these two Samsung...great picture...great for TV and gaming...great for streaming...the TV menu sucks...overly detailed and not intuitive...3 or 4 not clear menu choices just to simply turn on the sleep timer...a more straight forward menu...more straight forward remote with a LIGHT button to backlight the remote and this would be a 100% TV...

I love this tv and how simple it is to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv for my birthday. And I love it. I use it mostly to play Xbox one. But I have started using all the apps and watching movies on it. I love the picture quality and ease of use. The fact that I can AirPlay and the SmartThings feature. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Incredible Quality

The integration with Xbox has been great which means that i no longer have to use that controller, just the Samsung one. I can also use the TV controller to manage my Samsung home theater system which I was not expecting. Always love Samsung.

The screen went red!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] hi after having the tv for two days. all that we saw was red!....the picture never changed. we returned it to the store and we got another brand. the store said that they have had problems with this tv mainly picture. thanks

2019 Version - Screen is Garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 2019 model brand new and just recently the the left section of the screen is very dark and flickers when 1st turning on the power. TV was great when new, but deterioted quickly in 3 years. It should last longer than that.

Run a Picture Test on the TV. Navigate to Settings, select Device Care, and then select Self Diagnosis. Select Picture Test, choose OK, and then view the test. You can select Yes if the picture looks normal, No if there is a problem with the picture, or Show again to see the picture a second time. 2. Determine if the distortion is appearing during the Picture Test. Look for distortion on the screen during the Picture Test. If there is no distortion, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, try replacing the cable of the external device showing issues. - If the distortion still appears after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device. - If distortion appears during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step. 3. Request service if distortion appears during the Picture Test. Please visit our Support Center to request service if you see distortion during the Picture Test. When calling, ensure you have the TV's model code, software version, and serial number. Call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Price was good, but that's all

slow to connect to apps. disconnects from internet for no reason. freezes during streaming. there also seems to be an issue between this model tv and pandora with constant skipping during songs. this issue has been heavily discussed on pandora's forums. all the issues i mentioned could be related to my internet provider, however, i've had no changes with my provider, so i'm not going to blame them. to me, this is solely related to this television. i usually buy sony but was encouraged by a friend to get a samsung. i should have stayed with what i know. i won't buy samsung again.

clarity ; gaming and watching movies,

Would NOT recommend

went with samsung because its a popular suposedly high end brand, i dont notice that much of a better picture than cheaper brands. the set up was annoying, it recomended thag you use the app as the “easier set up” download and app, set up an account, then it still wasnt working right. the app itself is awful, opnly tv app i have seen thag doesnt open a keyboard when searching something. after set up the entire menus and changing sources is annoying, annoying menus stay on screen excessively long. biggest issue is being my bedroom tv you need to go through 4 sections of settings to find the sleep timer… really wish i hadnt disposed of the box as it would be being returned for sure.
