This product is an all around great item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a self admitted movie buff. The experience I have with every single movie I watch is brilliant. I find myself so enveloped in my experience I lose myself and any knowledge of time passing and all happenings around me. I am beyond satisfied with this product. I recommend it 10 times over to anyone.

Everything is Excellent

easy set up, easy downloads of all apps. picture, clarity and color are all top of the line. i purchased a samsung soundbar to accompany the tv and the sound will blow you away like you are in a dolby surround sound theatre. this is my 4th tv in the house and this one by far has the best sound and quality. would recommend getting the accompanying samsung sound bar that comes with a subwofer.

A few suggestions

i love the color and simplicity of changing channels. what i don't like is the difficulty in downloading apps like cbs. do the search and gives you the news apps but not the cbs app itself. also the constant voice about changing stations and adjusting volumes and reading every line of information is very bothersome. may i suggest that samsung place the major networks apps (abc, nbc, cbs) on the television with the option of deleting them. a more comprehensive instruction booklet would also be helpful for on screen instructions are not comprehensive at times.

#Scary moment #TV boom

I bought this TV two years ago. New Year's Eve last year. My daughter was watching cartoons in the living room and suddenly we heard a loud noise. A popped to be more precise, my daughter got scared and ran to me in the kitchen. From that moment, this TV is dead.

Do not recommend

Our TV only lasted 1 year before half the screen blacked out. We contacted Samsung regarding the warranty information and they did verify we still had it under warranty, but because there are no technicians that are Samsung certified in our area, we cannot get it fixed and the communication with Samsung has been a nightmare, as we already submitted our receipt and other information they asked for and not only is our TV not fixed, we have not received a refund. Will not purchase Samsung again.

TV does not last

I bought this TV a little over 2 years ago and now half of the screen is burnt out. The volume button frequently would stop working and I would have to unplug the TV to get it to work again. The menu would also lag and freeze frequently. I feel like this TV should have lasted longer than 2.5 years based off of the price tag.

Great features, poor quality and longevity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our TV in December 2020. It worked great, the built in apps, voice remote and Samsung TV plus was fantastic. We've had intermittent struggles keeping it connected to the SmartThings App. In June 2022, we noticed lines at the bottom of the screen. We ran a video test, refresh, self diagnostic, power down and recommended troubleshooting tools. Nothing worked. The issue became progressively worse until by August the screen wouldn't display a picture at all. When we turn it on, it's black with a slight light (maybe the backlight is on?). The features were great, but shouldn't a TV last longer than 1.5 years?

Please try the following troubleshooting tips to help resolve your issue. If your TV has a black screen even when it's on, please try these troubleshooting steps: 1. Press the Home button on the remote. If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues. Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In everyday use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power). 2. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device. For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced. After you've reconnected the external device, could you turn it off and back on? 3. Test the HDMI cable. Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not have it. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step. The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords. To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says, the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required. 4. Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port. If you were unable to test the cable in the previous step, then try swapping the cable, too. If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it. The TV will need service if the issue persists after these steps. As always, ‘WE' are the product, not the consumer

there are so many apps built into this thing and its not possible to remove most of them (guessing they get paid to include). its extremely difficult to set up a simple antenna (for local sports) because they are pushing samsung tv so hard. everything is tracked. multilple privacy acknowledgements required. makes me long for a 32” old school tv. once again, we, the consumers, are truly the product and all our info is being sold. there are all sorts of pop-ups and misdirections to try to get you to pay for sponsored content. you think this tv is cheap? ‘we', the consumers are cheap. i will not buy another samsung, maybe everything else is the same, i'll risk it

Not Samsung Worthy

This is the most unreliable unit I've ever owned. Samsung products have so much bloat ware that it's smart product features seem to become overwhelmed. Less than 6 months after I purchased this unit we began experiencing connectivity issues that often make the unit impossible to use. I have called about the problem however, it was not resolved and seems like it won't be and essentially we have a TV with software that is not viable and therefore useless. I'm certain Samsung is aware of the issue(s), it's not hard to find multiple postings across many platforms that refer to the same issue we are experiencing; to suggest it is a no issue problem possibly caused by a network band is a deflection especially considering the unit worked on the same network without issue until recently but the problem is now so prominent that it fully disrupts our internet service. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product.

Grandiosa

Yo compre esta pantalla en el 2021, y todavia funciona perfectamemte. Ya tengo 3 años de tenerla y no me ha decepcionado en lo absoluto. De echo acabamos de comprar otra pantalla dea.version 2024 porque necesitaba.os otra y espero que sea igual de excelente que la primera y que nos dure muchoa años.
