Hi IKnowSomeBody, Thank you for your purchase and review of the AU8000 TV. I have a few troubleshooting tips for you to try in reference to your Bluetooth device not connecting. It appears you are using a device with Norton 360. Your firewall settings may prevent the device from connecting to your Samsung TV. Please check these settings: ・Open your Norton device security product. ・If you see the My Norton window next to Device Security, click Open. ・In the Norton product main window, click Settings. ・In the Settings window, click Firewall. ・On the General Settings tab, Device Trust row, click Configure. ・In the Network Trust window, under Trust Level, click Full Trust. Next, please try repairing your Bluetooth headphone with your TV. Go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List. Some things to keep in mind when using Bluetooth headphones: - You can only pair one Bluetooth audio device at a time. - You can't use Bluetooth devices and the Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup feature (also called Surround) or TV SoundConnect simultaneously. Please try the following troubleshooting steps to help resolve your issues with dark blotches: 1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections 2. If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, and fixed horizontal or vertical lines. 3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels? 4. Press the Home button (which looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources? 5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test) 6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Samsung is #1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this TV, sharp and clear. Ultra HD is amazing. The smart TV features are awesome just plugged it in and bam, I'm watching TV. Perfect size for my home and very affordable for this size tv. Mine is the lower grade model and I can't hardly tell a difference from the more expensive models, that's how great it is.

Great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is great for streaming and playing games in 4k. The connective features and apps work well for streaming but the built in browser is best for basic browsing. Apps are widely available for all major streaming sites and all apps are very responsive and don't have any errors or issues. The sound quality is good but not too loud. There are numerous features for child safety, accessibility, and automation; my favorite feature has been using the smart things app on my phone as a controller for the TV and a private listening device.

Remote confusing slow to respond

Overall I really like it, but I find the remote control features are inadequate and confusing to operate at first, and the command input is on the slow side, the owners manual isn't what it should be and it doesn't have a live tv record function as to a USB drive or a hard drive

Could have been great

Really decent picture but honestly dim and terrible sound. Looks like a weak offering in this sector. Picture is really good if you monkey with it but sou d and brightness will never be enough for me to justify purchase. I returned it and bought Hisense u8h for slightly mire money and am thrilled.
