I had a Roku sound bar prior to purchasing a new TV so I was familiar with using Roku to stream content and I was happy with the service. When I purchased the new TV the salesman recommended a Roku Streaming Stick. He said it would enhance my reception even though it was a "smart" TV and could stream into itself. So I purchased the Stick and it works fine, I get all my streaming services clearly. But now I need two remote controls: one for the TV and one for Roku.

I purchased the Roku stick 4k on a recommendation from the guy who installed our fiber-optic line. It was extremely easy to install and hook up which we needed being of the older generations. There are plenty of options for watching and the ease of use was the big selling point.

I couldn’t figure out how to get tv stations or strin my trailer. Finally after a few years I tried the Roku stick. Being as u don’t need an outlet on addition to set up system u just plug in back of tv! We have a purchased wifi ATT portable router that we pay monthly and that is our internet! Even airstream and online forums didn't have an easy solution. Now we stream live tv and services we have.

We have a Roku streaming stick connected to every TV in our home. It has proven to be very reliable and the Live Stream TV included beats the live streaming we have on our so-called "smart TV's". I have referred friends to buy a Roku and they have been very pleased with their purchases. The best part is that customer service is superb - you can get a live person to speak with!

GOOD PRODUCT, 4 VS 5 STARS BECAUSE THIS IS ABOUT THE THIRD TIME I PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, AFTER A FEW MONTHS IT APPEARS TO SLOW DOWN IN SYSTEM, FREQUENTLY OVERHEATS. MIGHT HAVE TO DO SOMETHING WITH CERTAIN STREAMING CHANNELS BECAUSE OVERHEATING IS NOT UNIVERSAL

When lightning struck out DISH satellite, we had no TV, and it would be a week before a DISH technician could come. We had purchased ROKU for each TV but never used it. (We are not tech-savvy) But we had help learning how to use them. This enabled us to have many channels that would provide the entertainment we were used to, but we did miss the Christian channels that consumed most of our viewing time during the morning hours. (We resorted to the internet websites for each of the ministry programs). This positive ROKU experience has us looking into replacing DISH to reduce the expenses.

My original Roku stick is an older model and it lacks controls for my TV. The new 4K streaming stick fixes everything! Remote control for volume, streaming source (Prime, Netflix, etc.), and channel simplifies the old issue of having to manipulate 2-3 remote controls. The old Roku has now been relegated to the garage... But soon, it will be replaced with a third Roku 4K Streaming Stick. It gets better each time.

This is the second unit I've bought in 6 years. Lost the original one. It does a fair job but keeps disconnecting from the internet. I got it to receive Paramount+ at least until the regular network shows com back in Jan 2024 after the writers and actors strike. May cancel Paramount and mothball ROKU. But there are some free options so may keep it. My TV is a 2016 so it didn't have many extra options.

Pro-Sans Riku device we would be unable to stream the Spectrum app on our LG 4K TV. Cons- neither the device or software allows for directly entering a tv channel. Huge loss of user friendly aspect. Also, time to time you have to "reset" the device (w/device button) to clear the cache. Finally, Roku does not provide a way to clear the 'Recently Watched' list on Spectrum app.

I was able to install my Roku equipment without a problem. I never thought I could do it, so I thought about it for a year and finally just did it. I'm 78 years old, and I think Roku is the best thing to happen to TV since the invention of color TV.
