I used it to extend the life of an older model TCL 49" TV with a processor was lagging under the strain of MLBTV and multiple home screen app tiles. It completely fixed that issue and the graphic interface is much sharper resolution and speed. I had to hang onto the old remote to manage the TV inputs (A/V, HDMI, TV Antenna), but the stick and voice remote handles all the streaming channels on the stick plus on/off and volume for the TV.

there is nothing i dislike about the ROKU Sticks. I have one on each tv soeverybody gets to watch what they want without having to wait for someone else to finish a program. plus there are so mamy shows, series and chanel's to chosse from. I LOVE IT!!

I LOVE my Roku streaming stick. We watch something on it daily. It has everything on it from TV shows to movies to every app that you could possibly want. There is one thing that bothered me about not having Bluetooth built in but the work around is to bring it through the app on my phone. That works just perfect. I have a different kind of streaming device on my other TV and I really like this one much more than the other. The cost is the perfect amount of money for this, it’s easy to use, easy to install ( it connected right into my wireless network with no problems ) . I’m so happy with my purchase. I absolutely recommend this to anyone and especially “seniors” that are not tech savvy because it’s so easy to install and use.

I like Roku it plays back in actual 4K but the problem I have with this is that all the streaming channels such as Paramount Plus Hulu peacock Disney when I stream it through Roku if they ask for it and I miss 10 to 15 minutes of the end of show. I can't fix this problem I tried Google Gemini etc for tips none of them worked

Well...I received a unit that wound up having a locked remote. After about 4-5 hours of following the instructions, II had to walk away. I connected with a stupid AI . Finally bypassed crazy AI, I talked to a tech mgr. We went throuigh all the mess I did for hours. At the end, the tech told me to do something that's not in the trouible shooting guide. Hold the home key and back arrow but also add the mute button. It unlocked finally. I suggested adding that little mod at the beggining. The unit workes great. Easy to operate and great quality picture! Excellent streaming speed.

It is easy to setup and does what it's supposed to. I've been using a firestick for years and wanted something better. I figured I'd try a Roku. So far, I've used it for a week and it works well. I do recommend it and I like it. I just feel that it's missing something. Although the remote is very good, I prefer the firestick remote better. That's just my preference.

Doesn't take long to connect to the wifi, but getting it to respond to the remote control is frustrating, as it seems to take FOREVER to respond to the joystick controls (up, down) and Home. But it does what it says it will and it's otherwise reliable. This replaced one that is 5-plus years old and still worked (gave it away on freecycle). I had hoped for better.

This Roku stick has an issue with the power go the unit. It locks up and says there is a power issue with the plug or USB power connection. When this occurs, the Roku will not work until you shut the unit down and restart the power to it. The stick also feels hot when you touch it. This is annoying; after many times of this occurring, we disconnected the unit and took it out of use. Only had it 3 months!
