I bought 2 Roku's a couple months ago to add streaming services to an older Sony Bravia and a Visio. I was able to set up all my services and add Direct TV too. Works great, easy to set up (if you have all your passwords), and even recognized the brand of the TV's.

I was wondering what the speed and strength of the signal would be when buying. This is comparing to a recent Roku TV purchase. I believe this 4K stick is showing a faster connection than the TV. The stability has also been excellent at this point. I hooked it up to a 10 year plus Silvania and setting the remote was easy.

Love the Roku platform since it allows you to access all of your streaming programs with close to zero lag. The streaming stick that we got for our main TV is fast and snappy, and I like that the Roku remote can control the TV volume and turn the TV off.

Works great and is a viable option instead of FireStick. Don't like some of the button placement and the fact that you cannot re-program the Netflix, Paramount, etc. buttons for other channels. Other than these minor complaints I'm quite pleased. Would recommend if you don't like FireStick or Apple.

I enjoy my Roku greatly. I have a smart TV and after a month of dealing with the smart TV interface I ordered a Roku to plug into my smart TV. It is much more user friendly than the smartTV. The interface/smart feature on the TV is no longer used. Just use the Roku and over the air. It is shocking how many channels you get for free without pay for apps on Roku.

Not happy with the remote. Cant turn the tv on or off as well as control the volume.Have to use the tv remote for that....otherwise it works for the other functions.I did all the other steps as well with the smart tv for accepting the signal but no dice.

I would not recommend any Roku device. I would go with Apple or Amazon stick Very, very poor Customer Service I got charged for a full yearly subscription! I called Customer Service about this, and they refused to issue me a refund when I explained to them that it did not ask me if I wanted to subscribe to the annual subscription they still would not issue me a refund so I I had to call my credit card company and open a dispute case on this charge! I would not recommend this company or their devices!

I was getting so over cable! My friend has a Roku stick so I thought I'd give it a try and I'm so happy that I did! There is so much to watch and the only down side of Roku is that I'm having a hard time choosing what to watch. Thank you so much Roku for making my life (and my budget) so happy.

This updated Roku stick is much faster than older processor in our older-model Roku TV, though the menu navigation is the same solid foundation. It was simple, no frills, streaming. Glad to have a portable stick than can travel with us on family vacations.

Many, many years ago I had a Roku. It was OK. When my son bought me a Firestick and a new TV a few years ago I was in awe. The firestick awe faded over time, but I didn't know I had an option with the new style TV. Enter the new Roku. Wow! Simple design, easy to use, so many options, easier on the eyes, so much to love! I only wish I could program the buttons on the remote to go to the apps I choose, rather than preset ones. Also, the screensavers aren't consistent (and weird when they have ads in the corner), but that's a small thing, relatively speaking. I've been able to watch a movies from beginning to end without having buffering problems. Move over, Firestick, Roku is in the house!
