When we retired ten years ago we decided to drop the expense of cable tv. Roku was pretty new to us but we decided to give it a try. We have five tv sets on Roku now and have had other Roku devices in the past. I love this stick with the remote that can turn our non-Roku tv on and off and control the volume. This is something we only got to do with our TCL Roku tv in the past. It was so easy to set up. This one picks up the wifi signal better than the last device did (the set isn’t too close to the wifi source). I highly recommend this stick and remote.

I've been a Roku fan for quite a while and many of their products tempt me. This streaming stick has volume control which I didn't have before and it's so worth the price. I always had to dig around for another remote to adjust volume. It's just so easy to use and very intuitive. Love it!

I've used Roku before and loved it. This time I keep getting an error 022" Wireless receiver not detected. The Long Range Wireless Receiver must be connected to the Romu player to work properly. Please plug into the Roku player and a power source. It is plugged into power. Do I need another device (player) to make this work? Also, couldn't find assistance on website.

It’s so Easy To Use ,My wife uses the Microphone to Search for Movies and Apps Because of her Eyesight Vision Impaired Especially in a Dark Room she Loves it So Much we bought another Roku and we just Going to Buy another one for our Other Large Smart Tv where we are going to Setup to view Our Security Cameras for her to get a better View of who’s Coming With Packages to be Delivered Or someone Visiting.

I replaced 3 older Roku’s to get the voice feature and volume control. Both features work great! The only downside was having to log back in to several streaming services. I thought exiting apps would all transfer automatically. I also do not notice any difference in streaming speed.

I have had these for several months now. They are great products with but one exception - they do not pair with samsung smart tv's. I have successfully paired them with 3 older tv's including a samsung. But my smart tv will not pair with it. I have to manually change inputs and control the volume with the tv remote. Once there it still works very well as a streaming device.

I was an early supporter of Roku; "YAY! Suck it, cable! YEAH!" ...We got a new TV for the main TV room, and (then a new thing) Rokus for every TV in the house. A few months later and the main Roku remote stopped working. Got a new remote, a few months later that one stopped working, too. We swapped Rokus and their corresponding remotes with one I barely used in my studio- because, apparently, now that the business took off, they don't think it's important to make themselves available to their customers anymore and their contact info was scrubbed. Meanwhile, I absolutely fell in LOVE with having a Roku, and have been recommending it to all my friends, if not also just getting them one for their birthday, etc. If I earned a commission on Rokus purchased because of me, I'd have money for at least a solid 2-week vacation. That remote stopped working after several months, but it was time to upgrade, anyway. New Roku, new remote, and new remote problem! NOW it stops working because it's almost always on "battery low". Only even reads half the new batteries I try, fresh from the pack. Once the remote does read them, the next day or two I'm getting "low batt" notifications again! If I take out the batteries and swap their positions, I can 60% of the time get it to work *temporarily*. Out of the 2 I take out, the right 1 will usually have a newly-formed crust on the + end. Tried contacting customer service (after doing an in-depth search for contact info) and they couldn't have cared any less! I didn't call again for another couple of months, because a) I was busy. Because, life. b) I was so disgusted by the lack of help or concern from the last time that I didn't think it would do any good! When I did call again, she wouldn't help me because my warranty for the Roku device itself had expired! I am typing this on my phone in the app as we speak, because I was already on the app remote, because...you guessed it: the REMOTE stopped working!

We had a previous version of Roku so with the arrival of our new smart Samsung TV, it was a no-brainer to acquire our second Roku for that TV. The Roku Stick is a breeze to use, one of the most intuitive devices in this new age of very confusing and non-intuitive tech! Directions to use the Stick and the support available is a pleasure and is the best model the rest of the industry should copy.

I bought this Roku as a replacement for a much older streaming stick to work with my newer 4K TV. I continue to enjoy the interface and its ability to support the apps I use. The simple transfer from one device to the next, and the ability to keep the Roku out of the way makes it an easy experience.

I had my Original Roku streaming stick forever. I finally had to replace it and I went with the 4K streaming stick and everything went well for about a month or two and now I have to unplug And replug it it every time I turn the TV on. It’s continuously disconnecting from my Internet even though it’s only a few feet away, and everything else has awesome signal. Very disappointed in the product
