Was unaware of the benefits of the Roku stick until my brother-in-law suggested it. Now I enjoy streaming without having to buy a smart TV. Even though I don’t have free access to certain channels I enjoy it still has been very nice with the options I do gave. Thanks

I had a Roku sound bar prior to purchasing a new TV so I was familiar with using Roku to stream content and I was happy with the service. When I purchased the new TV the salesman recommended a Roku Streaming Stick. He said it would enhance my reception even though it was a "smart" TV and could stream into itself. So I purchased the Stick and it works fine, I get all my streaming services clearly. But now I need two remote controls: one for the TV and one for Roku.

Overall it is a nice player. Selected titles load quickly. Faster than Chromecast with Google TV. Roku remote is of better quality too. The disappointment is that the remote can not be programmed to control the audio level an a A/V receiver. I still need another remote to adjust the volume. Very backward in today's world. Both Fire stick an Chromecast with Google TV remotes do this.

It was time to upgrade our Roku device and we wanted something that was not visible. Also, one of our neighbors must have had an old Roku device and their activity would sometimes do things to our old Roku. The new Roku device is impervious to their remote. Plus it works great.

Works great. Purchased to replace our Direct TV satellite which got damaged. So far the roku has worked in most RV parks other than 1 and we connected using our cell phone as a hot spot and all worked super well. For us it's a great alternative to satellite TV.

I just installed 1 ultra and 4 sticks in order to have one uniform interface throughout house. I run the ultra through amplifier and surround and the sticks on stand alone tvs. Setup was very easy and I really like the simplicity and effectiveness of the remotes. I cleared out everything from the Home Screen except the apps I want and was able to easily rearrange the apps. Also, after a little research, I figured out how to turn off the smart tv apps from appearing on the screen. I am using a combo of YouTube tv, hbo max, Netflix, Hulu and Prime. Some of these can be shared between family. Very happy with using Roku as my standard interface.

We love our Rokus at home (native to all our TVs), but we miss it when we travel. No more, with the Roku Streaming Stick 4K. At hotels and friend's houses, you're never sure what apps they support on TVs, but they always provide an HDMI port - so we can easily watch any streaming service or use any of the Roku apps when we're chillin' in our rooms or just want to get away from the crowd.

I was having problems with my TV streams breaking up and reacting slowly when I switched channels with my older Roku TV. I purchased the Roku 4K Streaming Stick to see if it improve the streaming experience and it made a huge improvement. My internet problems were actually being caused by a bad router which had to be replaced. I decided to continue using the streaming stick because it responds so much better than the Roku TV. The remote is very nice too and it turns my TV and sound bar on and off and adjusts the sound.

I bought this to turn a 20-year-old TV into a modern internet accessible one. I spent a lot of money on this TV and could only use it when connected to cable and HD cable box which was expensive. With the streaming stick I can use it as I do my other Roku TV's, no cable just Wi-Fi streaming. Definitely a great low-cost purchase that I would recommend!

I love this unit easy to use love the mic feature and the picture quality just bought another one to replace the one that is running very warm I have to unplug it cause fear of fire and tells me it can’t be energy efficient especially when not being used,I like the stick version
