I have had this device with three other Rokus and cannot get a good sound out of any of them. Especially the voice does not project cleanly. Roku needs to learn how to improve the voice frequency range, which is only a few hundred hertz. Any decent audio engineer can solve this very simple technical problem.

Streaming, loading as ops, etc is great, However, the Remot could be a lot better, as follows: 1-volume and mute buttons on wrong side of remote for right hand people (most people! ) should move to left side! . 2- need a button to change HDMI input(source) 3- pause,rewind fast forward should be bigger buttons, and moved up on the remote a little so they fall under your thumb better!

ROKU offers a large variety of tv shows and movies! I've even been able to deactivate two of my cable modems! I'm thinking of purchasing a 3rd ROKU! At least give it a try! That's what I did, and depending on your streaming needs, you won't be disappointed!

We are a Roku household getting rid of our cable company's set top boxes in favor of using Roku to access our cable company's services and other streaming products. All four of our TV's use a Roku Streaming Stick. The Roku team constantly innovates, a great example is the introduction of Photo Streams which we use to create a photo montage of our memorable vacations.

This is my second Roku 4K streaming stick that I have purchased. The previous one lasted me 5 years without any issues. However, about 3 months ago, it stopped working due most likely to a blackout in are neighborhood. When I went on to turn on the Roku it didn't respond. I think the new 4K stick video wise looks even better than the old one it replaced, brighter picture, but can't verify for sure without an A/B comparison. All the features I love on a Roku are there easy to navigate interface , voice recognition, very snappy and quick switching from different channels, and programs with little to no lag. The user experience for me is much better than the Amazon fire stick I used previously. The only real criticism for me is the remote did not include a backlight feature. However, that was solved by buying extra on their site, the Roku backlit remote.

We bought this small device so it would be easier to travel with it. We plug it into the tvs in the hotel rooms. It works great, with easy set up too. We also like the remote control better. The surface texture is not so smooth that you lose hold of it when using it. Overall, I'm very happy with this device.

It is very difficult to find live local tv channels. IE like David Muir in evening, instead get the day before show. Also, noncompatible with Verizon streaming service. I believe the issue is Verizon and that Roku is agnostic but not sure yet. Have a Roku streaming stick in one room and just bought a Roku TV.

The product works mostly as expected. I have found the volume control to be inconveniently located on the side of the device and it is unpredictable for which way it will establish control. Often when I tilt the rocker switch towards increase it will decrease the volume. This has been very frustrating, but I figured I'd just live with it. I have not been back to return it to the store because I have lost the reciept.

Purchased to use on small Samsung tv in the kitchen. My wife complained that the smart tv was slow and always buffering. This Roku Streaming Stick is amazing. Excellent picture quality and great Wi-Fi connection. No buffering at all. Wife loves all the channels, but especially the Roku channel. Thinking of buying one for my 75" Samsung and cutting the cord. Highly recommend.

I love Roku and have had an account for several years, including a Roku TV and a Roku streaming box. I just bought this Streaming Stick 4K to use with an older TV, and it works well, EXCEPT that this TV is an older TV where I use the Tablo 4th Generation Over-The-Air (OTA) DVR so that I can watch live TV from both Chicago and Milwaukee. The problem happens when I go to my Roku app, select the Tablo app within Roku, and try to watch certain channels. All I get is a blank screen. The Tablo website reports a known bug with the Roku streaming stick (the latest model shipped to me, 3820R) where there is an incompatibility with Tablo. This problem with the Streaming Stick 4K has apparently not yet been fixed by Roku, so I gave it a 1 star. When this problem goes away, it would deserve 5 stars, since otherwise it works well and gives great picture quality, as well as access to all the usual movie and TV streaming apps.
