GOOD PRODUCT, 4 VS 5 STARS BECAUSE THIS IS ABOUT THE THIRD TIME I PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, AFTER A FEW MONTHS IT APPEARS TO SLOW DOWN IN SYSTEM, FREQUENTLY OVERHEATS. MIGHT HAVE TO DO SOMETHING WITH CERTAIN STREAMING CHANNELS BECAUSE OVERHEATING IS NOT UNIVERSAL

I liked the first one so much that I purchased another one for a different room about one week later. Set-up was quick and easy. We have a different brand of streaming stick on an older TV in our bedroom, and it works OK, but it isn't as fast or flexible or intuitive as Roku. I already recommended Roku to a friend, and she purchased and installed hers just last week.

I bought my first Roku about 7 years ago. But after testing it, I put it in a drawer and never used it. This year, after buying a Smart TV for my bedroom, I tried the old Roku on that new TV and discovered I liked Roku's interface better than Sony's. So I bought a new 4K Streaming Stick. Liked it so much I bought 3 more -- for my Living Room and my Office, and one as a gift to a friend who has a non-smart TV. I'm happy with them all, and my friend is thrilled.

It is very difficult to find live local tv channels. IE like David Muir in evening, instead get the day before show. Also, noncompatible with Verizon streaming service. I believe the issue is Verizon and that Roku is agnostic but not sure yet. Have a Roku streaming stick in one room and just bought a Roku TV.

I had not upgraded to a newer stick in years. Figured the software upgrades were adequate. Wrong. Could not have been more wrong. I wish I’d gotten it way sooner. It controls my television, which isn’t a smart tv, power anc volume now. It works faster and just has way better features. Prime is on the remote too and that’s great.

First purchase had to be returned. The WiFi component was defective and would not work. Read online that this is a recurring problem and upon reaching Tech support, they confirmed it is a common problem and only fix is replacement. Second unit worked flawlessly. Easy set up, good interface, great picture quality.

I have 5 TV’s and all have ROKU. The last ROKU was having issues ( numerous). The Streaming Stick 4K is the best unit. Things to consider: 1. Follow the instructions regarding set up, especially regarding proximity to HDMI cables. 2. The remote(s) work great, however, the remote supplied with the stick doesn’t have an earphone jack. The remotes that do have an earphone jack, use a lot of energy. I was constantly replacing batteries. So, I purchased a ROKU remote that plugs in to recharge the sealed unit, however, it doesn’t have an earphone jack. I remedied the battery situation by purchasing rechargeable batteries.

If you’re looking for a streaming device; the Roku streaming stick 4k is just what you want. Roku streaming stick 4k is small and easy to install. Given it’s small footprint you can take it with you anywhere. It is fast and snappy with no lag. I’ve had Roku devices for years and I recommend them.

I had a small roku , which lasted about three years, but the new streaming media and 4 k tended to overload it. So I bought this model, and it is sharp. I love the volume buttons on it, so I juggle fewer remotes which is great when I am relaxed and enjoying a glass of wine. Truly I am so glad I use a roku instead of using the apps on my smart tv, there is much more control with the roku. So I am pleased with the purchase and will stick with roku.
