We bought 2 Roku 4K streaming sticks a few weeks ago when we decided to finally “cut the cord” and ditch our long-time cable provider. Set up was very easy, and the learning curve for the transition from cable to streaming has been relatively painless. I do wish that the volume/mute controls were located somewhere other than on the right side of the remote — I keep hitting these buttons accidentally when holding the remote in my right hand. Overall, we are pleased.

I have had my Roku for over 10 years and it started giving me problems so i bought the Roku Streaming Stick. It also came with the best remote. It functions seamlessly with my vizio. My Roku Remote has volume buttons , on and off buttons. It has speech control. Fast forward and scroll back for when i miss something . Now this is also with all the regular Roku buttons. I no longer am having any issues with freezing or not accepting what i ask it to do such as going to netflix (a subscription i have thru Roku) and watching a program . I can not say enough good and am so pleased i upgraded my product.

These are probably my 8th Roku product and I love them. I have been using Roku since the very first product I was aware of in 2010. I own that plus a Roku 2, an original Roku Stick, 4 Upgraded Roku sticks, and now 2 Roku 4K sticks. And I recently bought my daughter a Roku TV, so I can say I am all in on Roku. I have reviewed the other technologies but decided that I prefer Roku over all of them. Even though my new TV is a smart tv I bought this stick for it because I prefer Roku over other setups.

I bought this because my smart tv no longer supported some streaming services. I was having problems of buffering and freezing. So I saw the ad for the Roku stick and decided that this will probably solve my issues. And I am so happy because it did. I did not have to buy a new tv. Saved me a lot of $$. I bought 2 more because it works so well. Thank you Roku.

Cut cable finally and switched to streaming but how to stream was the question . After carefully looking at all the streaming devises decided to go with ROKU . Setup was simple and menu was A 1, so many free channels sports, news, movies. And the price was perfect for my budget.

Just purchased the Roku streaming stick to replace our other streaming stick because of the Spectrum app but glad we did. It was easy to set up and most of the app selection is the same. If I am being nit picky, I think the remote could be a little smaller but overall, great purchase!

We replaced an original ROKU stick with this Streaming Stick 4K. The other one was just slow in comparison to a couple of ROKU TV’s. The new one is really fast, easy to operate and with everything ROKU, you can seemlessly move through out the house to other device with having to search for your show. It was on sale to boot, excellent price. Love it!

I now have Roku added to all 3 TV's in my home. they are easy to set up and add various streaming services. This last device was added to a smart TV that had lost wifi/smart functionality from a storm surge. Having had good use from Roku products in the past, I thought it worth a try. It saved the use of the TV and actually made it easy and more consistent to view different TV's as the set up's were all now the same. Great product.

When I received my Roku player, the volume button was defective. I wasted almost an hour online with an uneducated, condescending agent. I was promised that they would send a new remote, and a email follow up. NEITHER of those things happened! GARBAGE product! Garbage Customer Service! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

So, the remote upgrades are fun. But other than that and the fresh speed the system has, it was a HUGE ball ache trying to get the whole thing working. It did keep all my channels from my last Roku system, but all the thumbnails were missing, and the only solution I could find (after trying every kind of reset and restart known to the internet) was to arduously go in and manually delete and reinstall each channel. Once I did that, all the thumbnails were there. But WOW. That sucked. I was happy enough with my old Roku system, honestly.
