This updated Roku stick is much faster than older processor in our older-model Roku TV, though the menu navigation is the same solid foundation. It was simple, no frills, streaming. Glad to have a portable stick than can travel with us on family vacations.

I have had cable for years, after loosing my husband. I needed to cancel to bring down costs in my budget. I decided to try the roku streaming. It took me some time to get used to using the apps and to familiarize everything. Its to my surprise how much i enjoy watching. I am paying for two of the apps and enjoy all the the free tv and shows. I am saving a bundle . I am very glad I made this choice to switch to roku.

I travel a lot for work and one big perk with Roku is it allows you to travel with your streaming services all setup. All I have to do is plug it in to a TV in a hotel and using my smart phone connected to the Wifi. This makes being away from home just a little easier. I've been doing this for years with a Roku 3 which has served me very well. About a year ago I upgraded to a Roku stick 4k which I noticed a noticable improvement in responsiveness. I've even bought a few more Roku sticks to plug into older smart TVs I have at home that are showing their age and putting new life into them. Even if you have a high end TV with Dobly Vision this is a great option!

We bought this small device so it would be easier to travel with it. We plug it into the tvs in the hotel rooms. It works great, with easy set up too. We also like the remote control better. The surface texture is not so smooth that you lose hold of it when using it. Overall, I'm very happy with this device.

I had to buy another after the update stated my old roku wouldn’t be supported and this one has issues I never had with my old one. I constantly have issues with the volume not wanting to go up or down. I change batteries thinking it’s that and it doesn’t fix the problem.

Bought to utilize older TV in bedroom. Have had difficulty in linking up YouTube TV subscription that I have for main TV in family room. Have not been able to link up. Seems like Roku wants you to use other apps. I don't want to pay for anything else. Don't even turn that TV on now. Should return for credit.

Very pleased with the Roku Streaming stick. Easy to set up. Just plug it into one of your HDMI ports, pair your remote and follow the on screen instructions. Made my "dumb" TV into a smart TV. And the price was right. A product that actually does what the advertisements said it would do.

I bought this Roku to install on another TV as I am getting ready to dump cable and just use streaming. I have a couple already for guest bedrooms , but are older versions. I like that I can control the TV and have found it easier to add channels than my previous models. I have ordered additional Roku 4k Sticks to replace my other ones.

Easy to use, lots of choices at a VERY reasonable price. Love the Roku channel, it offers lots of variety. Tired of current cable-provideres TV shows emphasizing sex, drugs, extremism and violence. It’s great to be able to watch TV and have a nice evening. For instance the show “The Most Dangerous Roads” takes you to places that you may have never heard of it while providing inside and facts about the country.

We got the Roku Stick because the Spectrum app on our TV consistently had problems delivering the program we wanted to watch. The Spectrum app even had problems playing shows from the Spectrum cloud DVR. However, the Roku Stick has resolved these problems. We now just bypass the Spectrum app when we want to watch TV and just use the Roku.
