Thought something was wrong with my TV (Amazon Fire TV) because of how slow it was and how often an app would crash. Friend suggested I try Roku. They were correct. Night and day difference. No crashing, no lag fast lag free menus and app open and closing. Definit improvement.

We were told we needed to upgrade our old Roku, which worked fine, so got this one 9 months ago. From the beginning we had constant problems where our regular cable input would jump over to the Roku when we weren't watching it and we would have to unplug i. Or it would freeze and we'd have to unplug and replug it. Now the cursor jumps around so it's completely unusable. Don't know what to do now, as we need a Roku with our older TVs but after only 9 months I'm hesitant to buy another one.

I purchased 4 Roku Streaming sticks for 4 different TV's, 2 TVs did not have HDMI ports, so I had to purchase 2 additional external HDMI to RCA adapters. On all TVs the Roku sticks work great. Just on the older RCA TV the Roku remote will not control the TV's power or volume so I have to use the original remote that came with the TV to power it on/off and adjust the volume. I purchased these Roku streaming sticks to watch YouTube TV when I dropped the really expensive Dish TV.

I bought this because my smart tv no longer supported some streaming services. I was having problems of buffering and freezing. So I saw the ad for the Roku stick and decided that this will probably solve my issues. And I am so happy because it did. I did not have to buy a new tv. Saved me a lot of $$. I bought 2 more because it works so well. Thank you Roku.

I absolutely love this addition to our entertainment system. Our TV is an older model, approximately 7 years old, but still works great with the exception of not being able to add a variety of programming apps. I was having some connectivity issue with streaming with my Samsung tv. I tried several different methods to correct the issue. Roku was suggested to me as an easy, relatively inexpensive method to update technology in order correct the streaming issue. I found this all to be true. It was easy, inexpensive and immediately corrected my streaming problem.

I have used Roku in the past. This one it is so hard to turn it on. It must take 20 or 30 times to get it to work. I have two Roku TVs that are great but I need one for a non Roku TV. The next one I would get, will be the extended box instead of the stick.

We have a Roku streaming stick connected to every TV in our home. It has proven to be very reliable and the Live Stream TV included beats the live streaming we have on our so-called "smart TV's". I have referred friends to buy a Roku and they have been very pleased with their purchases. The best part is that customer service is superb - you can get a live person to speak with!

The ROKU worked wonderfully on my Samsung living room TV, which is only 4 years old. However, the Bedroom Samsung, although in great shape (with a still amazing picture), could not support the side buttons controlling volume and mute, or the front top button which turns the TV off and on. I've had this issue with another small kitchen TV, which although, also, a great TV, the same issues apply. This is not a major problem, just be aware that some older (or off brands) cannot support all the buttons on new Rokus; and you will be forced to use BOTH remotes : the Roku and the Samsung TV remotes.

My tv is an older one yet this Roku made the picture beautiful and so clear. I enjoy the voice search feature that brings up what ever you may be looking for in entertainment. Another plus about the stick it's behind tv out of sight. There are so many free channels. My favorite is JW Broadcasting being a JW I spend a lot of time there and watching the dramas on the TV screen is much better than my tablet. If you haven't bought a new Roku lately please do you want be disappointed. Enjoy!
