I set it up to record a show and it said it was recording it, but it recorded something completely different. It showed the proper name of the show, but it was recording an entirely different station. The show was being broadcast on the proper channel. Not happy. Besides the fact that it is always buffering. Sigh.

Thought something was wrong with my TV (Amazon Fire TV) because of how slow it was and how often an app would crash. Friend suggested I try Roku. They were correct. Night and day difference. No crashing, no lag fast lag free menus and app open and closing. Definit improvement.

The setup and use of the product was pretty intuitive, and adding our various subscription channels went well also. I am really enjoying the different things you can do to customize the wallpaper, screen savers and the sounds that are part of the pre-created themes.

This is our 3rd Roku purchase. We’ve had the streaming stick for about a month now. Our kitchen TV is across the house from the WiFi modem, so the original standard Roku was frequently buffering. We debated buying a WiFi booster, but then found this product from Roku. the streaming stick has worked flawlessly on the kitchen tv, and even moving a tv outside to watch football games by the fire pit. Set up was super easy and automatically loaded all my apps.

I own three Roku devices, one for each TV. I like the simple, clean interface that Roku offers. I initially added a Roku to a non-smart TV, but I added two more to existing smart tvs because the interface was so superior to the Visio interface. The Roku Channel is an added bonus that provides access to a solid catalog of on demand movies. My only complaint is all three remotes are buggy at times. One continuously turns on the TV after turning it off. Another loses the ability to control volume frequently. Removing and re-inserting the battery fixes both issues but hopefully Roku can fix these small issues with SW updates.

Both our 10 year old smart TVs were suddenly incompatible with Netflix; I bought two Rokus and they were straightforward to install and provided a single place to have all our various subscriptions (Paramount, Prime, Netflix, Peacock) in one place, plus some great programming in the Roku and other free channels! Love the fact that the Roku remote took over from our older, larger and clunkier remotes and reduced two different remotes to one! All in all, very happy - thank you Roku!

Whenever I use the one n the bedroom it will not connect to my Internet until I turn it off, then turn it back on. But it always says I have an excellent after I turn off then turn it back on. This one n the bedroom is the one that u replaced. Living room one works fine though.

This piece of crap continuously shuts itself down, and yes the 20 minute shutdown has been disabled. You constantly have to get up an unplug to restart after it freezes. I have owned multiple Roku devices, but this is the biggest piece of crap in history. Don’t buy this garbage. It sucks. I will NEVER, EVER purchase another Roku ANYTHING again. this is total garbage.

I bought the most recent one a month ago, and like all the others, I love it. I have 3 of them and I purchased 3 others for gifts. The recipients all love them too. I especiay like the fact that 2 of my 3 TVs are able to power the stick without using up an outlet and not having to run a charger box (The third TV will be upgraded soon.) Another feature I love is the voice remote and its' features. The only downside I've found is when I want to rearrange the apps (channels) on the home screen I can only do 1 at a time. Hopefully in the future that will change.

After a couple months of use my complaint is minor. I have a sound bar and its integration with roku has not been smooth. Changing the volume level is hit or miss at times. Sometimes it works fine while other times it struggles to connect. I will have to say my other 3 tvs with roku do not have sound bars and changing the sound level is not an issue.
