I bought this on clearance and thought it was a good deal. I ended up returning it. The main reason is that it blows grass everywhere. The bag does not seal well so grass blows back at the operator as well as out the front onto the deck. It was also hard to maneuver. This may have been a function of the high rear wheels. It also seemed harder to move backwards than forwards

Not the easiest mower to use. First, You need XL hands to be able to hold on to the bar that keeps the engine going AND then grab way down to grab the bar that starts the wheels. This is the most cumbersome way of operating a mower I have ever owned. The cord clip is a piece of rubber that bends onto the handle of the mower. The first time I mowed I had to restart the engine because of course my hand slipped off of the engine bar as I was trying to reach the bar for the wheels to start and when I pulled the cord to start the engine the cord clip flew off the bar and went into the woods I was near. It really needs to be bolted into the bar. Then there is the speed the wheels turn. I was very surprised to see other reviews saying how fast the wheels turn. I have the opposite opinion. I have never had a mower that has moved soooo slow. It's taking me 50% longer to mow my yard because of how slow my mower moves compared to my previous mower (which I also bought at Sams Club, but a different brand). I see the companies reply saying they set the speed to some industry standard but seriously I am frustrated at how slow I now have to walk. The other issue (convenience AND safety) is when you lift the front wheels off of the ground the drive speed of the back wheels almost doubles. I was shocked this happened during my first use and almost drove the mower right into a yard light because I was not ready for the mower to double it's speed. Not sure what that is all about... On the positive side the mower starts every time on the first pull. It cuts well although when I finished I did see some small row spots of uncut grass throughout the yard so I guess you have to leave more room on the uncut side vs my previous mower.

This was a bad buy. Had it less than a month and stopped pulling its self. I am taking it back.

It is easy to start but a pitiful mower. Very lightweight and does not cut grass evenly. I would not recommend buying this mower unless your yard is very flat and smooth.

I’ve always bought craftsman mowers but saw this on sale at Sam’s Club. No complaints and exceeded my expectations. Fired right up first pull and set up was easy. Very impressed.

I used the lawnmower once and the self=propelled stop working. I am taking it back for an exchabge. Maybe I'll have better luck with the next one. Stay tuned i'll let you know the outcome.

The self-propelled function broke after 4 passes across the yard. But we were able to fix it. Used it a couple more times. Hoping it doesn't happen again.

Very nice mower starts easily. If it gets really really hot and you cut it off it is a little harder to restart and wish it had two gears, one fast and one slow when you engage the self-propelled.

Sam's Club was great, I returned the lawn mower after removing the oil and gasoline from the unit. The manufacturer was very poor on all their responses I would not recommend.

Mower is great. Starts with one easy pull. It's going to make mowing easier. Only difficulty was manufacturer's assembly instructions were printed very tiny and with insufficient explanation or sketches so I had to go to utube for a video.
