Worst purchase ever!
I saw this and the price was great. This lawn mower is supposed to be self- propelled, it barely works. I'm 62 and it takes all my strength to push this mower. I have had other self-propelled, this one is horrible! If I could take it back, I would. I was hoping maybe after some use it might get better-NOT! DO NOT BUY!

Self propelled noonl
I purchased this mower a year or so ago. At first it was great did a good job,but maybe six months ago the self propelled feature stopped working I have tried to get in touch with the company to troubleshoot the problem but to no avail. I'm sure it's an easy fix but I don't know.All in all I would not recommend this mower.

Didn't make the cut...
I purchased this lawn mower two years ago. The self propeller suddenly stopped working. I discovered the plastic pully that connects to the belt was shredded. Unfortunately, the replacement parts are not sold anymore. It appears this is a common problem with this model. It safe to say this is a major design defect. I would not recommend this model or brand.

Check the blade
Happy with this lawn mower until the blade fell off while using for the second time! Not sure why this happened but just glad no one was hurt. The instruction tells you how to adjust the drive- otherwise it wants to take off when you use it. Since I reattached the blade it has been working well.
Junk
Do not buy this mower. Had issues with parts falling off. Even a metal piece under the mower deck. Screws fell out of engine cover. I've had to replace the gas cap 3 times. O-ring keep falling off or breaking. Can't find replacement o-ring so had to buy new cap each time. Engine runs ruff. If it starts as long as it doesn't quit or stall it runs, but if you stop and shut it off it won't start again for at least a day. Totally junk. Can't find replace blade locally. It needs to be ordered. I do not recommend this mower.

Worked one day.
This mower worked on day 1. Second time I mowed I couldn't get the thing to start after taking a break. I took the break because a bolt came off while mowing that helped keep the wheels aligned. I could no longer adjust the height of the mower. I replaced the bolt myself with a random one from my garage. Sun went down so I would have to do the backyard tomorrow. Started up great the next day, but it started hiccuping while mowing. Turned it off to move the hammock in the yard and I couldn't get it to start. Every time I pulled the string I noticed gas was gurgling from the tank and spilling over. Piece of junk and am going to return it to Sam's tomorrow if I can get it in the box. Do not buy!

Seems to be a great value for the money!
Just finished putting the mower together and giving it a quick test. I will say that the "quick start" sheet is useless! Just use the manual to assemble it and you'll be fine! Oh, and raise the deck (wheel adjust level) to "3" or higher, or you'll never get the bolts for the lower handle installed! What impressed me most is that I filled it with oil, added about 1/2 tank of gas, and gave the pull cord one gentle tug. It started right up! That is Briggs and Stratton quality! The only complaint I have so far is that the drive is a little fast for my taste. But, so far, I would highly recommend this mower. Get it while it's on sale, as it's worth the price!
2 times I bought this mower
The first mower I got something broke on the frame. SAM'S allowed me to return to store since it was purchased there. Replaced with second one and then the RWD plastic part that turns the self propel broke. SAM'S is giving me a full refund. Had to send back via FED EX but wad hard to find a box that worked. The mower worked great while it was all functioning.

Bought it had to return it a month after purchase.and exchange for another one. The replacement s drive cable broke after warranty ran out and couldn't find a replacement. Now the mower body is rusted out and has a hole in it. The Briggs and Stratton motor is great. It starts with one pull. Runs like new. The mower isn't very good. Made in China. I don't recommend

DO NOT buy a yard force mower
First off SAMS club stood by what they sell. I bought the yard force self propelled mower a while back and I loved it. It worked very good until it didn’t. The mower stopped propelling. A spring fell on the ground and then I found a plastic nylon pulley (melted) on the ground. I called several lawn mower service places and no one would service it. I called Merotec USA and they sent me a diagram of parts and gave me their parts distributor outdoorpowerdirect.com. I looked for the parts and was out of stock for weeks. I called Merotec again and they said to call the distributor because parts one in daily. When I called the distributor they said the don’t sell parts to consumers. They gave me a name of a local distributor that could get me the parts. Well when I called the so called local guy it was a car garage and didn’t work on mowers and didn’t know why he was a distributor but he could order if I paid in advance and it took 3 months for another part to come in. But then I would have to do the repairs and then thought that’s just not right. So I called Sam’s club and the store manager gave me two options 1 I could bring the mower back and she would replace with a new yard force or 2 she would give me my money back. Now even though Merotec (yard force) did not really help me Sam’s Club did. So DO NOT by a Yard Force mower. Actually I called Merotec customer service back to let them know what transpired and how they really did not help me at all and Michael said well if you don’t need help I have other customers that do! Looking at the reviews of this mower several other people had the pulley melt off too.
