I upgraded from the smaller version of this safe. It appears to be well-built like my first safe and the extra room will make a big difference. It came undamaged which is great considering how heavy it is. The only issue I see was that initially opening the safe, the mechanism was very stiff. However, with several opening and closings, it seems to be getting smoother.

I'm the Facilities Director at a Credit Union and we install Sentry Safes at all our branches to keep our debit card stock in. We have a newer SFW205EVB model at a branch with a broken handle. Is there a way to purchase just the handle mechanism for this model?

The description says the safe has a key lock as well but mine does not? Who to contact for this?

Somehow the handle does not open it anymore, it just cracks but does not open. Can anyone recommend a way to open it the handle seems to have gone bad...

With a strong magnet made with a speaker magnetizer can open this lock. By removing the inside plastic panel you will see the aluminum locks. Easy to cut with 3" hand saw. The water safe is hold by a .25 or thinner foam that make a gap in a corner.

The 1.23 cf is big enough for us. Now I'm finding things to put in it, that should have had fireproof protection years ago. Master Lock provided my school locker locks 50 years ago. Well worth the money for peace of mind.

The internal space is large, however I do have issues adding my own combination. No big issue, I will add it later. I do recommend this safe for important documents.

I bought this safe a few days ago, it was the best buy I could ever do to secure my stuff. The safe is well built and has very good security features for the price. I definitely recommend it.

Safe will not open. Even using rhe factory code. I can hear the mechanism attempting to unlock, but the safe remains locked. An absolute waste of money.

This safe is absolutely terrible for the simple fact that it will not open no matter what I try to do. Me, my brother, and my dad have all tried to open it and it will not open, so now I have a safe I can’t even use sitting on my floor.
