This safe feels solid and gives a good sense of security. The handle to close the door is made of plastic and doesn't feel as tough as the safe, but it is adequate. The dimensions don't allow for legal size documents( 8.5" x 14") to be laid flat; which is the type of documents I will want to store in a safe.

The safe is seemingly well built, with exception to the handle to open the safe, which seems to be cheap plastic and feels like it could break off without much difficulty. The keypad is responsive and the added LED light that illuminates the interior upon opening is great little addition. I do wish that the AAA required to operate the safe were included - seems like a bit of an oversight. The manual is also not overly helpful and does not mention where the batteries are to be installed. I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure this out. To save everyone some time, the safe requires 4 AAA batteries, which are installed to the right of the keypad in a hidden compartment with a depression release. Overall, a seemingly well built safe to store valuables and important documents alike. Hope I don’t need to find out how fire proof it is...

This works when it wants to, I change batteries and ol still locked out of it. Sometimes it takes me 20 to 30 minutes to get in. It’s not like that I’m putting the combination in wrong because it’s a number pad it registers when it wants to or it locks me out for no reason apparently there is a recall on it

Great safe only concern is that because it is waterproof which is a great bonus, the safe must be opened one a month otherwise documents or jewelry will get damaged. If I went away on a long trip over a month someone else would have to open it for me!!!

We bought this to store important documents and other valuables. Seems very well made and sturdy, is very heavy, and the four bolts and fire proof qualities coupled with the super Sam's price made it an easy sale. Only downside, and it's not a huge deal, is you have to open the safe at least monthly and either rejuvenate or replace moisture packs supplied to keep humidity from damaging anything inside. I was unaware safes like this needed any maintenance, but apparently it's due to a gel-like substance in the walls which provide the fire proteection. Other than that it's a great buy.

I must confess that I ordered the wrong model, this one does not have a key but relies solely on the electronic key pad. Returning it is too much of a hassle as I had to cut the box to get it out. It is my mistake. Nevertheless this is my third Sentry safe bought over the years, they are all excellent and well made. Sentry will always be my first choice.

So far I like the safe but I just got it. This is the first safe I have had with a electronic lock, I hope I did not make a mistake. The safe had a small dent in the side but that is ok, Its not a show piece. The safe seems well made, I wish it had a medal handle but I think it will be fine. Time will tell

This safe is really good size adn easy to use and set up. I had an earlier version of this one that only lasted about 10 years before the safe became difficult to open and the handle broke. This version seems to be made better, more secure and easier to open and close plus it has the LED lights which are a nice bonus.

I love the easy set up and that I can open it easily every time. I like that this safe is not too heavy and I can move it slightly if I need to clean around it but still heavy enough that someone is not going to easily walk off with it. It is a good size for my valuables.

Easy to install and use. So far so good. I was accidentally turned the door handle down to lock position while it still opened (all 4 bars were out) and couldn't find any instructions to undo that, I had to search Google and find out all I had to do was removed the battery compartment and voilà, the safe is reset. Wished Sentry have that in Trouble Shooting sections of the manual.
