I purchased this to put valuable documents in so they would be protected in the event of a fire or flood. The safe arrived in perfect condition and is very easy to operate. I had read some reviews that said the handle was not sturdy enough but I think it works just fine. I have no complaints and this is more than adequate for what we purchased it for. I think it was a good buy for the price and much more practical than having everything in a safe deposit box offsite.

Our large gun safe is a pain in the butt to open quickly, and doesn’t have an official fire rating. This little guy seemed like the perfect fit to store smaller items with an added layer of protection. Easy to open very quickly, the light, gray and keypad all do exactly what they’re supposed to, and it’s heavy enough that you couldn’t move it quietly. 5/5

I did a lot of research on various safe models before purchasing this one, and I am totally satisfied with what I selected. It is the perfect size for my needs, it came with bolt down hardware, and it is easy to operate. A nice bonus feature is the light inside. The Sam's price was better than anywhere else.

Easy to set up. Just pop in batteries and ready to go. I have not had it long enough to do an accurate review as far as having any problems. It still has the new smell. Interior light is great. I love the storage area on the Inside of the door. One reason I chose it over some others. I don’t plan to bolt mine to my new hardwood floors. Hopefully will never test the fire and water proof abilities.

this is a nice size safe, Just the right size for those things you want to keep, and just the right size to hide. this safe is 86 lbs and easy to anchor in place. setup was easy . Its a win-win

I looked at a number of safes on a number of websites and ultimately picked this one because I wanted an electronic combination instead of a dial combination. I am moderately satisfied with the safe. I had hoped I was getting one in which I could hand standard sized hanging folders. This turned out to be NOT the case. Therefore, I changed my storage approach, put my papers into large, sealable plastic bags, and then was able to storw them in the safe. I also made a mistake by looking at the picture of the interior and seeing a set of keys. I thought the keys were for the safe. They were not. The safe does NOT have a secondary locking system that uses a key. Overall, for the price I paid, it was decent value but I would have preferred one that also had a key lock and could handle hanging folders.

If you ever decide to buy this and you don’t own a car, I still recommend going there to pick it up some how rather than having it shipped, I got 2 dents (huge dents) on my safe and never complained because I am not gonna carry this back or pay any further expenses just to bring it there unless they want to provide me an amazing experience by dropping off a new one and taking this dented one. Other than that, it is good but the handle to open the safe is plastic and seems like it can break with applied force. Sometimes when you pressed the right code to unlock, it won’t unlock after a few seconds. It’s a good safe. The light inside the safe will shut off after a few seconds, so hurry up and grab what you need..

The safe arrived with a huge dent on the upper left hand side. I called customer service to let them know it was damaged. They gave me a reference number but no one ever got back to me to resolve the issue.

I had bought 5 of these safes to give as gifts. When they arrived some chemical had spilled on them and it smelled real strong so I took them out of the cardboard boxes to get rid of the smell. 2 of the 5 safes are dented. 1 of them we accidently locked the passcode inside the safe and sentry safe wants $27.00 to give me the code to open it. I wanted the safe with a key & a combo lock I must have ordered the wrong ones.

I genuinely cannot believe someone looked at this safe and thought, “Yep, this is good enough to sell.” This is not a safe—it’s a monument to terrible design and wasted money. Using it is an exercise in frustration, and every interaction with it somehow makes me dislike it more. I’ve had more pleasant experiences with things that were actively broken. If this safe had a personality, I’d avoid it in public. If it had feelings, I’d still give it one star. I wouldn’t recommend this thing to my worst enemy. Honestly, the best feature of this safe is the moment you stop using it.
