This safe looks good it is an ideal size for the house. Fire and water protection is a big plus however, what is disappointing is the breaking into it by a burglar! There are so many people with youtube reviews showing how easy it is to break into. One recently was ridiculously easy a teenager could do this, I will not go into this in detail. Otherwise I do like it overall.

the best part is as you open it, the drawer is so high that if by bad luck someone was close, they would not see there is a drawer at all because it ride so high in the safe when position in top rail and it makes a perfect place for my pistol. Of course because mine sits on the flor in my walk in and not at my eyes height.

I must confess that I ordered the wrong model, this one does not have a key but relies solely on the electronic key pad. Returning it is too much of a hassle as I had to cut the box to get it out. It is my mistake. Nevertheless this is my third Sentry safe bought over the years, they are all excellent and well made. Sentry will always be my first choice.

Easy to install and use. So far so good. I was accidentally turned the door handle down to lock position while it still opened (all 4 bars were out) and couldn't find any instructions to undo that, I had to search Google and find out all I had to do was removed the battery compartment and voilà, the safe is reset. Wished Sentry have that in Trouble Shooting sections of the manual.

Being a new owner, I do not have a negative thing to say about my new safe. So far, I am satisfied with everything about the Sentry Safe that I have purchased. If I must find something negative to say, it would be, that I should have gotten the larger model. If you are thinking of parching one, please consider the larger model. You wont be sorry!

The safe is seemingly well built, with exception to the handle to open the safe, which seems to be cheap plastic and feels like it could break off without much difficulty. The keypad is responsive and the added LED light that illuminates the interior upon opening is great little addition. I do wish that the AAA required to operate the safe were included - seems like a bit of an oversight. The manual is also not overly helpful and does not mention where the batteries are to be installed. I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure this out. To save everyone some time, the safe requires 4 AAA batteries, which are installed to the right of the keypad in a hidden compartment with a depression release. Overall, a seemingly well built safe to store valuables and important documents alike. Hope I don’t need to find out how fire proof it is...

This is a good product that seems to be very secure (of course, you can't rate the security until it's needed - like when there's a fire or an attempt to break in). The only issue I see is it has a large plastic "SentrySafe" logo glued to the door of the safe, so it's hard to hide - you have to cover it, or place items in front of it. Hard to imagine why you would need the logo there during use - are you advertising to thieves?

I expected to have problems initially opening and programming this safe, but it went without a hitch. It opened first try with the factory code and it was easy to program a personal passcode as well. The easily accessible battery compartment means I never have to worry about the batteries dying and not being able to open the safe. There is ample room for our important documents and valuables and the construction of the safe is such that I am sure these items are well protected from fire, water, and theft. I totally recommend this safe to anyone.

I love this safe as it allows you to set up to two of your own combinations. You cannot delete the original combination as a safety feature in case you forget the new combination you set. It has a light inside safe, which you can turn off if you wish. Very pleased with purchase and security of safe. It is heavy and not easily moved.

Safe appears as advertised, some installation instructions weak, example bolt down says there are two indentations on the bottom legs but there were barely detectable and not centred on the legs. Instructions mentioned keys but didn’t apply to this model so don’t mention them, not difficult to have a manual for each model.
