I wanted a small safe to keep documents in until I could transfer them to the bank safe deposit box. This is just the right size for me. I was curious about the little moisture absorbing packet inside. Instructions say because it is a water proof safe it can retain moisture and the packet should be put in an oven every few weeks to dry it. I wonder if there is an alternative?

Very nice safe bigger than expected.Don't know what others said about the battery.They are located in the front behind the combination outside the safe no problem to change if they went dead.Lots of room.It did have a couple of cosmetic dents but it was not a problem.

The locking mechanism is terrible. Cannot change code and if try to return they ask to call them first.

Great safe! Just the right size for storing all your important papers and items. Has a light in it when you open it. Comes with a code number to get into it plus you can add up to 2 more codes to it. Comes with 1 tray to put small items in.

I'm very happy with my purchase so far. Seems well built. Handle is a little mushy if you push on it when it's locked. I'm concerned something might break if someone tried to force it. When unlocked the handle works fine. Interior light is a nice feature!

Our large gun safe is a pain in the butt to open quickly, and doesn’t have an official fire rating. This little guy seemed like the perfect fit to store smaller items with an added layer of protection. Easy to open very quickly, the light, gray and keypad all do exactly what they’re supposed to, and it’s heavy enough that you couldn’t move it quietly. 5/5

I bought this safe for its size and features. I received the safe by mail in 2 days as indicated on the website at the time of purchase. Being that I've only had the safe since Friday, July 13, 2018, I can only give you my initial impression of the safe, its packaging, and shipping. A better review for the safe would be made after 6 months or a year to express likes and/or dislikes, but I will consider this an "initial review". My initial impression of the safe is that it is as advertised and works as shown in the manual. The only long term concerns I have are for the digital locking mechanism, and plastic locking lever. As for packaging the safe was boxed pretty basic with polystyrene molded foam at the top and bottom. The only thing that surprised me was that the digital lock and bolt lever did not have any foam protection. Considering the size, shape, and weight of this boxed safe it's easy to see how these safes get damaged during delivery. Suggestively, I think the box should have handholds to aid in handling. My safe does have minimal dents and dings of which I'm not concerned because this safe is not going to be a show piece in my house. I can say that a few of the dents found on the bottom of the safe occurred before it was packaged. All things considered it seems to be a good. As far as shipping goes I received the product as indicated in 2 days. The packaging/box was in pretty good shape, which is impressive for the aforementioned comment. So far so good.

Great safe for all of my important documents. The only thing that wasn't working for me was putting 8-1/2 x 11 file folders in the safe in order to have my files standing upright. I actually put the safe on it's side (not bolting down to floor) and it works perfectly to be able to see the titles of all of my files.

I love this safe as it allows you to set up to two of your own combinations. You cannot delete the original combination as a safety feature in case you forget the new combination you set. It has a light inside safe, which you can turn off if you wish. Very pleased with purchase and security of safe. It is heavy and not easily moved.

Poor excuse for a safe. The spring for the lock actuator is so weak that if you jar the safe on the front and turn the handle it will unlock. Behind the door is a sorry excuse for locking bolts. I would have felt better had this been marketed as a fireproof/waterproof “case” and not a “safe”. 0% security.
