[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be fair, this review may be somewhat harsh as I took up using double-edge safety razors just over a year ago and have never gotten better shaves in my life as I have from those. My lack of skin irritation, comfort level, and closeness of shaves has gone through the roof as a result, so going back to a cartridge razor like this Gillette ProGlide Razor had me skeptical. The result of using the ProGlide Razor: It is ok. But I'm skewed since I use real razors. If you've only known cartridge razors your whole life and are not enlightened to real razors, you'd probably think the ProGlide is good to great. The ProGlide is comfortable to hold and it does glide nicely over the skin. My first shave with it was fairly effective, but make sure to rinse the blade often as it can clog with hairs and shaving gel quickly. Also, do yourself a favor and learn what the real razor users do by doing your first shaving pass with the grain of your hair growth and then following up with a second coat of shaving gel and then shaving across the grain of your hair growth. This will help eliminate a LOT of skin irritation and pulling. The blade on this first shave was pretty sharp and did a good job. Again, make sure you rinse the blade a lot. The pivoting/rotating head does flow over the shape of your face pretty well, but it does not give anywhere near the close shave of a safety razor. Also, because Gillette insists on using so many blades, the head is pretty tall and thus it is hard to get into smaller areas like the valley above your chin or above your lips. The ProGlide head does give quite a bit so the risk of being too rough on your skin is minimal. The second shave with the ProGlide proved to be about the same as the first, so the razor blades held a sharp edge for at least two shaves. This looks to be a solid product that should keep shaving novices or those in a hurry fairly clean-shaven for a day, but it does not give the close shave or overall quality shave that a double-edge safety razor can do. Those who have shaved with a safety razor know the clean, smooth, refreshed, and calming effect that a good shave can give a man. You won't find that with the ProGlide. For me, the ProGlide is not exciting to shave with and won't have me switching back to cartridge razors. However, it does seem to flow with the shape of your face in a mild manner and not rip up your skin.

The 2 in 1 gel is a must have to use together for a nice cut. I will be buying refills for this shaver and putting my nae on it so my son doesn't take it from under me

I love that it glides over the skin including all the bumps and wrinkles without pulling and cutting my skin! It gives a close straight razor shave without the worry of bleeding to death... my wife even noticed how soft and smooth my skin was, which is a change from what my normal shave is! Fusion ProGlide Manual Razor works as well if not better than my electric shaver and at a price that is way more attractive

Fusion Proglide replacement cartridges are great razors, i have been using them for a couple years now. The razor cuts the hair well and it is a very smooth razor. I would recommend this razor, although the price point is rather high, I do get about 2 months out of 1 razor.

However, I was seriously impressed with this razor. I was shocked how many shaves I got out of it. 15 I believe... Nice smooth shave each time. Worth every penny.

After trying mail services, disposable razors, and basically any shaving technique I could find, I was able to try the ProGlide thanks to BzzAgent. I have never been happier with a shave in my life. Even in areas where I usually have a hard time getting hair off, the FlexBall was able to get it done quickly and easily. I will continue to use the razor for a long time.

Shout out the movie Blade but Gillette is the best Blade. Nothing against Wesley Snipes but this blades are the leading role in my movie. I love the pro glide and I was trying out different cartridges like the shield and I just find the classic glides to be the most suitable for me as I shave once every other day. Thanks for the amazing service and subscription option. I take advantage of the latter and truly appreciate Gillette. I used other blades and brands but the look and feel from these are what set the bar for my standards. I’d love a sample pack of all the types of blades Gillette sells to try the blades out to find my perfect one but like I mentioned I found the pro glide original to suit me for now. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the shave gel smell good and after shave my skin feels smooth and fresh. The flexball added to the shave is really the best thing added to a shave because it forms with the curved jaw.The five blades is also a great added feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Fusion ProGlide razor with FlexBall technology in the past and was very impressed. However, I have been using disposable razors over the last several months to try to save money. I'm now convinced that I never should have switched. This razor is excellent all around. I have very sensitive skin and shaving tends to be a very painful endeavor, but the Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall gently slides over all the bumps and curves without pain. Also, I usually have to go over spots two or three times to get a close shave, which irritates my skin even more. With this razor, one time is enough for a super close, smooth shave. Along with the razor, I also tried Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Gel + Skin Care. First, the can is much different than others out there. It is not metal so it will not rust, and it has a meter on the side so you can see how much you have left. Every other can is just a guessing game for when it might run out. Also, shaving creams and gels continue oozing out of the cap after I'm done shaving, but the ProGlide Gel + Skin Care stops as soon as I want it to... no more mess! I have to say that of all the BuzzKits I've tried, this is the one that has made me the happiest. I have a soft, smooth face and no mess to clean up! I highly recommend both items.
