Decided to give this razor a try and I'm thoroughly impressed! It left my skin feeling as smooth as silk!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] absolutely love these ProGlides. They give me a much closer shave compared to my older fusion power cartridges. They look narrower compared to the older Gillete fusion power cartridges at first glance, but the width is exactly the same and it's a little shorter than the older model. The cartridges are interchangeable between the older Gillete fusion power handle and the newer proglide handle. I can do just one pass ALONG the grain and get good results - this means a lot because I have extremely thick and fast-growing hair, and I usually have to do two to three passes to get a close shave. The blades seem to bend a bit more and there's sort of a serrated/furrowed thing (not sharp) at the bottom which I think is used to guide and align the hairs better. They're a tad bit on the pricey side, but other than that I really, really like these. Would have given them five stars if they were a little cheaper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin plagued with acne scars and thick hair. This razor glides smooth and leaves a long lasting clean feeling. The blades are more expensive, but they stay sharp a lot longer. Even with my skin, I can re-use the blade for about a month before changing it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Gillette Fusion Proglide razor with moderate success. Althought the shave was nice and close, the handle was a little to small/skinny for me to handle properly. I would like a thicker, larger handle for better ease of operation.

The Gillette Fusion series itself has proven to be the best shave experiences I have had in my life, bar none. It gets better with each model. I work in a large law enforcement agency as a first-line supervisor and need to set an example for my employees, as well as to look good for my superiors and the public. So a close shave that lasts all day is very important to me. Enter the newest weapon in my arsenal against stubble, the Fusion ProGlide with Flexball. It comes in a simple and recyclable blister package with more dark colors than its predecessor. That will make a nice contrast for the store shelves. This razor feels beefier but weighs less than its siblings-- great in the hand, and great for control over the contours of my face. The new Fusion ProGlide with Flexball is a mindblowing experience to use. Improved comfort, a closer shave, and better ergonomics make this a top contender. I did not think it was possible to outdo the previous model...alas, Gillette has done just that.

I now love the difference of the shave. The closeness of the shave without the razor burns from an electric shave, the Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor has actually changed the way I shave now and use it now instead of my electric razor for a nice close shave from a razor.

This razor is the one he likes the most and will not switch razors because it is so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a great smooth shave with the Flex Ball Razor. I had been using the regular Fusion razor without the FlexBall arrangement because I really like the multi-blade cartridges and that single blade that is on the back side for the precision cuts. I can't say that I found the new Flexball arrangement to create a smoother or closer shave. It is a nice little gimick and might prevent a nick as it would tend to right itself if you got it turned at a bad angel. It felt really solid and comfortable in the hand. I sometimes knick myself around the adams apple area with other blades, but this razor handled that very nicely.

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual cartridge has proven to be a very good blade. The ProGlide is true to its name as it did just that....glide across the surface of my face. Normally, I use an electric shaver but if I ever thought about replacing it, it would be with the ProGlide. However, it did tug and pull just a bit when I used it for the first time. I'm guessing it is because of texture of my facial hair but once I got it going it was pretty smooth. Robert Mangum
