I have blonde hair that I get done every 8 weeks and since I went from brunette to bleach blonde, my hair has been really hard to shampoo. I can hardly run my fingers through my hair to shampoo my scalp. But this shampoo nicely suds through my hair and I can actually glide my fingers through smoothly. I've been looking for a shampoo that won't buildup on my hair so that I can use treatments such as olaplex and k18. This shampoo does not buildup, yet it still feels moisturizing!

I feel my hair the cleanest with this shampoo. I only use it between 1-2 times a week as I am working on my curly girl method & only shampoo 1-2 times a week. It keeps my hair & scalp feeling clean & smelling clean.

I buy both the shampoo and conditioner for my daughter. She is biracial and her hair can get dry, especially since she is a swimmer. The shampoo and conditioner combo keep her hair in her beautiful natural curls!

I am allergic to sulfates & although some shampoos say they are sulfate free they still have a minute amount of sulfates. This shampoo works great for me. I would highly recommend it.

For those saying it left your hair greasy, you need to understand this is not a detergent filled stripping shampoo. This is a low poo, meaning it won't strip your scalp or strands. Before beginning low poo products you must clarify your hair WELL. Use a clarifying shampoo 2x in the shower. Wait a week, let your hair get as dirty as it can, meanwhile no silicones, simethicone, dimethicone, ONLY NATURAL products. This product is not made to wash out fake oils such as OGX Argan oil(its mostly synthetic oils) Do your research before hand, trust me, this is a great shampoo and conditioner, but it is made to restore the health of your hair and scalp. How can these ingredients get into your hair strands if it's full of dry shampoo, covered in synthetic oils, and impenetrable? Think of it like this. Have you ever put on a hair product and its left a film on your hands you can't get off? Imagine each of your hair strands coated in that and nothing can get under it..That's what silicones do. They wrap your hair and keep the frizz down, but to get them off you have to use a detergent like shampoo, and that strips your hair AND scalp, resulting in so many issues. If you go natural in your products, you will notice less oil as time goes on, leas frizz, no buildup. It takes time tho!

Quality product that is safe to use. Has none of the usual harmful chemicals that can be absorbed through the skin.

Waiting to go return it. I feel like it leaves my hair sticky and I couldn't give it zero stars or I would.

I have used many Shea products and have always thought very highly of this brand. Unfortunately, my recent purchase was not on track with their previous items. The coconut shampoo and conditioner purchased at Sams club left a very bad heavy coating on my hair. I have to think that this is a recipe error. Like I said, this brand has always been excellent. Definitely a little bummed by this product.

I was excited to see Sam's carry a more natural hair care line, however, I was extremely disappointed with this shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't smell good (you think it would smell like coconut but it doesn't) and it weighed my hair down and made it feel greasy.

Bought this because of all the reviews I’ve seen not just here but on other sites as well. BIG mistake since using I’ve been loosing more and more hair. Which normally I never lose as much as I am right now. My hair is thin and I don’t have much so this was disappointing.
