Will need to purchase more to fully secure the house. The magnetic mount makes installation easy. You just download the app. Follow the set up steps and you have a live camera with microphone and recording. I feel more secure when my husband travels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly and installation of this product was a snap. We already have a Nest thermostat so we were basically set up. It took no time to add on the Nest Cam. We installed inside temporarily since it is snowy and icy right now. In 4 days we have used 15% of the battery. They estimate that at this usage the battery will last another 4 weeks. Wide angle lens provides an excellent picture. We are very happy it has audio and video feature. Every object that comes into view a message is sent to me. We are very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a reliable security camera for our front door area and didn't want to invest in wired, expensive devices, and the Nest Cam has been perfect for us. The install was so easy and we had it mounted and viewing live feed within 10 minutes. I like the settings to be able to turn off notifications for certain things (like animals) and the notifications that come through the app for what I've selected (like people). The video quality is crystal clear and the camera feels very well supported on the magnetic mount.

I only have 2 complains with the Google battery camera:1. This camera should have been 4K. I realize 4K would have been more of battery drainer, but I would happily recharge the battery a little extra to have 4K.2. I recently had to change my Wi-Fi password. Folks, don't change your password unless you absolutely have to. I had to climb a ladder and pull cameras down to manually hit the reset button on the back of the camera. You would think there would be a simple solution for this but apparently Google didn't consider this.

The best thing about it, is the easy installation, since I am not very handy. This is weatherproof and can be used indoor or outdoor. It has a recharger lithium battery, and the video quality is top notch. I already have the Google home app, and installation and syncing was a breeze. One thing to keep in mind. You need to remove the camera to charge the battery. I have my Nest floodlight camera hardwired just below my roof, 20 ft high. You need to put this camera somewhere where it’s relatively easy to access, for recharging. I’m going to be purchasing one more to cover a back area of the house. I enjoy the security these cameras provide, when I’m not home! This is another great Nest product!

The Home app walks me through the installation and gives me detailed instructions. Mounting is easy with the magnetic mount that’s included. This camera can either be plugged in with waterproof power cables or it can run on battery. 1080p HD with night vision. Instantly get phone alerts. High quality product at an even greater value. I’m very happy with this product and the secure end results.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Camera is fast and easy to set up, and install. It comes in 2 pieces, the base and the camera that attach together with a strong magnet. I love that I dont have to worry about running ugly cords! I installed it outdoors, well above the recommended 6ft and the quality is still great! Its great that I can view the camera from my phone and also my google nest hub...perfect for keeping an eye on my kids while I cook dinner! The camera also has a 2 way built in microphone that works great as well. I've had the camera installed for about 3 weeks and the battery life is still good, the app lets me know how much battery life is left. The camera/app saves 3 hours of video history, but you can purchase a subscription through Google for more storage. The 3 hours has been sufficient for me so far! I definitely will be buying a few more of these for my home.
