When it pushes alerts to my phone I don't have to worry when I see it's just my husband that it is recognizing in our yard. The video quality is really good too! It's a bit of a wide view so it really catches a lot. You can create motion zones for the camera to ignore. The app is really the best part. It makes finding certain evnts easy! You can scroll along a timeline or view a list of fast moving video clips. I wasn't sure the 3 hours would be enough but really, it's plenty since the alerts are clear enough to let you know if it's something even actually suspicious to care about. You won't have hours and hours of useless footage to sift through since you know who it's catching. I have google nest speakers all throughout my house. One little bonus that I think is really neat is the camera syncs up with these through Google Assistant and will alert you which room it hears broken glass or siren/smoke alarm sounds! My son was using a toy with a siren and it alerted me that there was a smoke alarm sound in his room and for how long. I love that! The battery life is impressive. I have had my camera on and running for over a week and it still says over 80% life left. I'm sure that's relative to the settings you have the camera doing, but so for I'm pleased. Lastly, I want to mention that installation was a breeze. My husband has been forced by me to install other brands of cameras with wires and he was stoked with how this required NO climbing in the attack or running wires.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled to have this Nest camera. The setup was a breeze! They give a QR code to scan and then super easy directions. The camera is sleek and attractive on the inside of my house. It's in the living room and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I love being able to check in when I'm out of town. I am especially looking forward to using it this winter when I will have it face my thermostat so I can check on the heat working in the house during freezing Minnesota winters. Great value, great camera!

I love that it is magnetic, so you can adjust the cameral easily and remove it when the camera needs charging. The battery life is great! The camera is clean and clear and the sound picks up everything. We have google products already, so it was a breeze to set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought I would add this camera to my other three nest devices. Unfortunately, I could not add it to my existing Google Home account. I had to add another home to put it by itself. I didn't figure that out until after I read some of the submissions on the support pages. I also have the nest aware subscription and wanted to add it to that but I couldn't because that's under a different email address so now I have to go back and reconfigure everything to one email address. Don't know why it wasn't easier usually Google and nest have had really good products. The best news about this is that the picture quality is the best I've ever seen my other nest cameras are much older and the pictures are a little bit fuzzy. But this camera is amazing. It's nice that you can put it anywhere and just take it down to charge it. I do plan on getting the all weather cable so that I can have it plugged in all the time. I wish they had just made the existing plug weatherproof even though it short. It would've made it a lot easier for me to just wire an outlet nearby.

My Nest Cam (battery) has been running for a month. First 2 weeks on battery while I waited for the 10m waterproof cable. Installation was simple, battery life is great. Video quality is very good but laggy when starting to record. Sometimes it would record an event other times it would catch just the last couple of seconds and other other times it would completely miss the event by recording after it was over. Since installing the 10m power cable all my recording problems stopped. Very happy with my Nest Cam(battery) purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nest camera has a great quality picture, but the microphone picks up a lot of interference. The setup of the camera only took about 5 minutes, and was fairly easy. We set it up in our game room because I have a lot of valuable memorabilia there. The video quality is amazing, and it is able to capture the whole room, but the microphone was making a lot of weird noises that weren't actually on the tv, I'll have to see if I can tweak that at all. The app is very easy to use and navigate. Great quality camera. It would be nice if it was waterproof though, so I could get a couple for outside.

The setup was SUPER easy and integrated with my existing google products pretty easily. The cam quality is great and the installation took literally one minute. The battery life so far is good which means less charging. I would consider replacing my other brand cams with all nest cams.
