[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Nest cam is very easy to install and love that it is battery operated and requires no hard wiring. The quality of the video is much better than expected and the night vision works great. We have had problems with thefts in the neighborhood, so hope this will be the deterrent we need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very easy to set up, and easy to mount. I fully charged it before using and it showed weeks of use. I don't have alot going on around my house so it wasn't being used a ton and after about a week it had dropped down to a few days. I really feel like they need to improve the battery life. I also wish it was waterproof since it goes outside. This was a miss for me and I wouldn't recommend it.

The battery life seems good so far. Magnetic connection is strong and the magnetic mount makes it easy when it comes to charging. Love that this can be used indoor or outdoors. Overall I'm not sure if I prefer the wired vs the battery camera. If you are looking for easy installation this is it!! Security cameras are a mist now days and love being able to check in anytime.

The mount makes it very easy to aim the camera once you have it up. It’s easy to install and set up. The app is nice and notifications are instant and it has had so far a 100% person detection rate. The camera resolution is amazing for picking up finer details such as license plates, faces, and other details. There’s no going wrong with this camera. It’s pretty amazing!

The Nest cam was easy to install and easier to mount with the magnetic backing. It is battery powered so you have no wires to run but you do have to take it off the mount and recharge the camera every 3-5 days. The picture is clear especially in the day time.

It's super easy to install and get up and running, and the video is clear and you can see everything you need to. This is great whether you are heading out on a trip or just to the grocery store. I love Google products, this is no exception to that. I am so glad I decided to try out the Nest cam. I would absolutely recommend picking one up and checking out all the amazing features it has available! Amazing product!

The only thing I m not happy is view of camera is giving me. Tech recommended current site but view is kind of narrow. Also didn't realize that battery runs down fast unlike my nest doorbell which is hard wired and able to see my porch to see packages arrive. Will get 2nd gen hub for viewing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Nest Cam is pretty awesome. The setup was a breeze, just charge the camera, scan the QR code and follow the in app instructions. I mounted mine outside and love the fact that it doesn't need hardwired power. If you need a flexible camera this is the one to get.

I have been a long time user of Nest products, going back to before Google purchased them. Their hardware and iOS app have been flawless. I purchased the Nest battery camera as I was excited for this new launch and to place my camera in places where I had no access to power. Unfortunately the new cameras do not work with the Nest app, they only work with the Google Home app. I wouldn’t have much of an issue with this if the controls of viewing the live feed and history were similar but they are not great in the Google home app. Also if you pay for Nest Aware you won’t get the features you pay for unless the camera is plugged into a power source. To save battery life the event history is only 30 seconds long, most events caught the end of a person walking by and if that person showed their face in the 31st second the camera wouldn’t show that history, the events hard stop at 30 seconds.The Nest app is perfect, I hope Google doesn’t try to discontinue this over time.

Installation was very easy…just follow the prompts in the Google Home App. We had ours up and running within 10 minutes. Ours is installed inside our student’s apartment so that they can see when people are entering and leaving their unit. Great way to give you peace of mind that you know who is entering your apartment!
