[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up this camera was not as easy as it should have been. I already had Google Home installed on my Android phone but I'd get the camera added then be told by the app I had to use Google Nest to set it up. Then Google Nest would say to use Google Home for set up. A Neverending cycle.... My husband had an iPhone and for some reason it worked on there. Once set up the camera works well. You get 3 hours of free recorded video but can pay for more. The night vision is good and quality at 1080p good as well. You can put the camera by your front door and even talk to people at the door. Mounting the camera base was easy and the camera has a very strong magnet so no worries about it falling off the base.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own numerous different cameras from multiple brands and this Nest Cam outperforms them all! Both the hardware and software are exceptional. Nest Aware is amazing. The fact that it can recognize my face and the faces of my family keeps me from constantly checking every person alert to make sure everything is alright. The picture quality is great, the motion alerts are snappy, and the user interface is intuitive. One of my favorite features is that when you get an alert, it shows you a little GIF snippet from the event, so most notifications can be dismissed with a cursory glance. The magnet holding the camera is incredibly strong, but it still allows for easy adjustment of the camera angle. The camera charges quickly as well.

Very easy to setup and use. Magnet is very strong. Pretty good angle of view. Overall very nice! You can't put a price tag on a piece of mind!

It really only took me a few minutes to get it up and running plus some extra time for updates. I love the magnetic mount! It is so easy to install and remove the camera if it needs charging. I love that it can be charged or plugged in based on what I need. My favorite part is the person detection. It does such a good job detecting and recording people who come to the house and alerting me immediately to it. I've been really impressed and will definitely be getting more!

I like the magnetic base that can be attached to metal. The back/bottom of the camera is also magnetic so it allows you to move the camera into the position that you want. I have my camera plugged in the garage and I love it. The battery lasts about 1 week before it needs to be recharged.

I often set up the cameras to monitor different points in and around my home and the ability to move the camera from location A to location B is ideal for my use case. The video quality and ease of setup is wonderful. I enjoy using the Google Home app to see all my cameras in one app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week ago and am happy that I did. The setup was very easy; you download the Google Home app and add the camera to your list of devices. I wanted to attach the camera to a metal fence I have surrounding my home to see what animal was coming into my backyard and tearing up my garden. Low and behold, the night after installing the camera, I found a feral cat is the culprit. There is even some smart built-in AI that changes the notifications you receive on your phone depending on what the camera observes. For example, when I woke up in the morning, I saw "Animal detected" as a notification on my phone. And when I went to go take a look at my garden, it says "person detected". So far it's been outside for a week in the Texas sun and the battery is still showing 99% remaining. Overall, I am very impressed and would highly recommend.
