[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this camera. It was easy to set up and very easy to install. I love how easy it is remove when I need to charge it. The magnet is very strong and I think it would stay attached during heavy winds. The battery estimate says 7 months!! Wow! It loads very quick when you get an alert. It's awesome you can hear and even speak through the camera. The live video works well and the history timeline feature is very easy to navigate to see past events. The image is clear and crisp and the night view is also very good. So far I am very impressed with the camera and I have not even fully discovered all the settings and features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The video quality is great compared to other devices I have tried. It has people vs. pet recognition which seems to work so far. The product itself seems sturdy and feels like it will last in the outdoor elements. It does say it is only weatherproof and not waterproof so I'm not sure yet how this will hold up in the rain. I wish it worked with the existing Nest app. Unfortunately Amazon Alexa only has a skill that works with the Google Nest app. It does not ye work with Google Home app. Hopefully that is a feature they are working on.

This camera would be excellent for someone that does not have many technical skills as it pretty much does all the work for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already owns several Google nest products, including the amazing Nest thermostat. This camera exceeded my expectations, just like the thermostat. The best thing about it, is the easy installation, since I am not very handy. This is weatherproof and can be used indoor or outdoor. It has a recharger lithium battery, and the video quality is top notch. I already have the Google home app, and installation and syncing was a breeze. One thing to keep in mind. You need to remove the camera to charge the battery. I have my Nest floodlight camera hardwired just below my roof, 20 ft high. You need to put this camera somewhere where it’s relatively easy to access, for recharging. I’m going to be purchasing one more to cover a back area of the house. I enjoy the security these cameras provide, when I’m not home! This is another great Nest product!

I have been a long time user of Nest products, going back to before Google purchased them. Their hardware and iOS app have been flawless. I purchased the Nest battery camera as I was excited for this new launch and to place my camera in places where I had no access to power. Unfortunately the new cameras do not work with the Nest app, they only work with the Google Home app. I wouldn’t have much of an issue with this if the controls of viewing the live feed and history were similar but they are not great in the Google home app. Also if you pay for Nest Aware you won’t get the features you pay for unless the camera is plugged into a power source. To save battery life the event history is only 30 seconds long, most events caught the end of a person walking by and if that person showed their face in the 31st second the camera wouldn’t show that history, the events hard stop at 30 seconds.The Nest app is perfect, I hope Google doesn’t try to discontinue this over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is perfect, it’s easy to mount, wireless and holds charge for a long long time. I have mine mounted to a metal light on my porch and it is magnetic so needs no screws or anything. I put the app on my I phone and so simple to use. It sends me a notification and records history so I can see whenever anyone comes to house or leaves. It has night vision and facial recognition. I love this camera!

Google products are always well packaged and designed. This Nest Cam is currently being used at a rental property, its great to be able to set up security devices without the need for contracts and have the portability to re-locate. The camera is very minimalistic and is easy to install and set up through Application. It is a great piece of mind having another set of eyes to watch over your property. Highly recommend!

It has a real good battery life even though bring it in the house to charge could become annoying. On the other hand it allowed me to place it where I wanted and I did not have to worry about the power source.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this camera. It was super easy to install and setup. Drill two holes, screw on the base, and the camera snaps on. Setup through the Google Home app was really simple. I like that you can tag familiar faces and get alerts with their name when the camera sees them. I'm thinking about ordering some more for the rest of the house!
