My Nest Cam (battery) has been running for a month. First 2 weeks on battery while I waited for the 10m waterproof cable. Installation was simple, battery life is great. Video quality is very good but laggy when starting to record. Sometimes it would record an event other times it would catch just the last couple of seconds and other other times it would completely miss the event by recording after it was over. Since installing the 10m power cable all my recording problems stopped. Very happy with my Nest Cam(battery) purchase.

I like how easy it was to setup and how I could place it anywhere I wanted. Not having to be buy an outlet is perfect. The picture is very clear and it covers a wide angle. I love how I can easily change the settings to fit my needs.

This Nest camera does it perfectly, it was very easy to attach externally to my home and the magnetic attachment to the base if great to adjust views. The google home app is easy to setup, I did have to try multiple times for it to fully install without throwing up errors, but just be patient. It can sense movement and send you alerts and keep history videos. The battery depending on use lasts for months.

The Home app walks me through the installation and gives me detailed instructions. Mounting is easy with the magnetic mount that's included. This camera can either be plugged in with waterproof power cables or it can run on battery. 1080p HD with night vision. Instantly get phone alerts. High quality product at an even greater value. I'm very happy with this product and the secure end results.

We have been able to spot quite a few wild animals in our yard at night! The app is easy to use (we already have a nest thermostat so it was easy to add the camera) and is convenient to have on my phone.

There is an option to leave it plugged in, but you have to buy a special outdoor cable if you want it outside. It took 7 tries to get this set up. Sigh. The app kept telling me that "something went wrong during setup" but it wouldn't tell me what. The FAQs weren't helpful and there was no easy to find help line. I also tried to install it at the workplace for some security issues there but couldn't get it to work through the security firewall. Eventually got it to work, though and think I will be happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little camera! I like the fact that it's not hard Wired so you can put it pretty much anywhere you want, even outdoors! It was very easy mount which is a plus. The battery is rechargeable. The picture has been clear so far both day and night. It connects to the Google home app so you will have to download that for it to connect to. You can customize how much motion you want it to detect so it's not notifying for no reason like an animal passing through your yard. Overall I'm very pleased with this camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this camera to use outside my garage to monitor activity in the driveways and to monitor deliveries. It's working great and I love you don't have to plug it in! The setup is easy. My wife was home when it came and she opened it and we both set it up on our phones with the Google home app. It's very self explanatory and we didn't even use the instructions once we downloaded the app. Installing the camera only took me about 5 minutes and that's mainly because I couldn't find my drill. They recommend you place it around 6.5ft high. It has a very strong magnet that keeps it in place and I was shocked at how strong it is. The camera is nice because it alerts you with movement and if it's from a person or animal. It does save 3 hours for free and if you want to scan back to past dates they have very inexpensive subscriptions. Every security camera I have had has never given me any free storage only a live feed. The other feature that I love is you can talk/use the mic on the camera. So if you did catch someone out there who was not supposed to be there you can speak to them/tell them the cops are called etc. We live in the mountains and have bears come up so we will try to scare them off by talking through the mic. The battery lasted me about a month before I had to recharge it. We move a lot so not having to hard wire it makes it easy to take from place to place with only drilling the plate into the wall not worrying about plug-ins. Overall this is a great way to monitor indoor and outdoor. It's water resistant (not waterproof) so make sure it has a little cover. Mine is outdoor and just the little amount of roof cover protects it find. We get a lot snow and it's been perfectly fine.

Google products are always well packaged and designed. This Nest Cam is currently being used at a rental property, its great to be able to set up security devices without the need for contracts and have the portability to re-locate. The camera is very minimalistic and is easy to install and set up through Application. It is a great piece of mind having another set of eyes to watch over your property. Highly recommend!
