We originally wanted to put it outdoors and we eventually will but we have 3 kids (always blaming the other for who did what) so we have it up on a high shelf in the family room. Once fully charge, the Google Nest Cam has an awesome battery life. Now it would probably run through its battery quicker if I had the History turned on but I just get on the Google Home app every now and then and have the camera run. A green light will appear when the camera is live or recording. My kids think it's recording all the time. Ha! The set up was easy and I like it's sleek design. I think it would be easy to mount outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly and installation of this product was a snap. We already have a Nest thermostat so we were basically set up. It took no time to add on the Nest Cam. We installed inside temporarily since it is snowy and icy right now. In 4 days we have used 15% of the battery. They estimate that at this usage the battery will last another 4 weeks. Wide angle lens provides an excellent picture. We are very happy it has audio and video feature. Every object that comes into view a message is sent to me. We are very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this nest cam. We have it installed by our front door. It was easy to set up and install ourselves. Right out of the box, we had it up and going right away. It helps us keep an eye on our house at all times.

Easy to mount either with magnetic base or included mounting ring. Battery lasts 3-5 days and recharges easily with USB or AC adapter. Only downsides was a confusion and bit time consuming effort to integrate into Google Home to be able to use and only 30 days free for Google Nest recording.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very convenient product. No wiring necessary. I have not yet owned it long enough to know if the battery life is as stated. That said the battery is easy to change out whenever it does expire. Very reliable. I'm happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nest cam is easy to set up and use. Can be used inside and out. Have also used arlo system and it is very similar. Nest has a bit bigger screen shot but arlo seems to be more sensitive and pick up movements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is a sleek battery powered indoor outdoor cameras. It is super easy to set up the camera and you must download the google home app if you have no other products from them. The unit includes the 3 ft wire to charge, mounting and camera. I connected this outdoor and debating of purchasing the anti theft wire because the camera can be easily removed. In addition may consider purchasing a longer wire so I can connect unit plugged in vs operating on the rechargeable battery. The camera is quite clear and quite impressed with the night time vision. You have the ability to select to not record animals, vehicles motion etc. I don't plan on purchasing the subscription and at least happy it does 3 hours of recording. However, it doesn't include 24 hr free recording. There needs to be updates on the app because it is needs to more intuitive. I was not able to find option to set arm and disarm camera recording if I am home. That was disappointing. In addition you do not have ability to delete certain clips but only portion to delete entire recording history. Maybe something to consider in the near feature. Overall pretty pleased due to camera quality. The audio seems really good with the iPhone.

I have found the battery to last for awhile which is amazing. I find the app to be user friendly. I would definitely recommend this product.

Setting it was much easier than I expected and if you follow the instructions you should have it done in no time. One of my favorite features of this cam is the night vision with 1080p HD. This Google Nest Cam is truly amazing and I highly recommend it!
