[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nest camera has a great quality picture, but the microphone picks up a lot of interference. The setup of the camera only took about 5 minutes, and was fairly easy. We set it up in our game room because I have a lot of valuable memorabilia there. The video quality is amazing, and it is able to capture the whole room, but the microphone was making a lot of weird noises that weren't actually on the tv, I'll have to see if I can tweak that at all. The app is very easy to use and navigate. Great quality camera. It would be nice if it was waterproof though, so I could get a couple for outside.

The setup was SUPER easy and integrated with my existing google products pretty easily. The cam quality is great and the installation took literally one minute. The battery life so far is good which means less charging. I would consider replacing my other brand cams with all nest cams.

Easy to install and app works well to monitor what's going on. I also like that it's rechargeable unlike a popular competitor that only uses batteries. Would definitely get more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a Nest Cam that I set up at my front door to record who comes and goes. It is easy to set up. Just down load the app and charge up the camera and you are good to go. You just follow the prompts and it helps you set it up. The plate attaches with just two screws and the camera attaches with strong magnets. I now can see when some one approaches my door and see when packages get delivered. I also like that it gives a more security, some people may think twice before they take a package if a camera is there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed and happy with this camera. Set up and installation was easy and didn't take long. The camera itself is very well made and sturdy, and also a very nice size so it covers more area. I have a fairly large backyard, and I am able to monitor almost all of it with this camera. It has also handled a lot of rain just fine.The app is user friendly and works well. The picture quality is fantastic and clear day or night. I really like that it can tell the difference between people and cars so I'm not getting annoying alerts that I don't want. Facial recognition is also a great feature that I never knew I needed, but appreciate so my kids aren't always setting off the alerts. Overall this a top of the line camera that is perfect for indoor or outdoor use, and it is so easy to monitor what is going on at your house.

Now that I've done it once I don't think it would take longer than five minutes. The picture quality is perfect. That is what impressed me the most. The crystal clear picture. The app is easy to use. I'd buy again in a heartbeat. Very happy with this Nest cam.

Day and night with the included night vision we know who and what is on our property. Crystal clear picture. Highly recommend it. hoping to add one in the back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little unit is great. It is stylish and easy to set up. The magnetic base is genius. It is completely malleable in terms of how you aim it but it is rock solid in its connection. They will never unintentionally come apart. The integration with Google Home was easy and the alerts work exactly as you would hope. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the physical product. It was simple to install outside and position so that I could see what I wanted. The removable base on a magnet makes it super simple to change the position of the line of site. To install you just take the base ring and two screws and find a location that you can drill into and you can point at what you want. Once you have the base ring on the wall you just twist the white base onto that and you are good to go. This unit comes with its own charger. I have had it up for 5 days now and the batter usage shows that it is at 98%. I have it at my front door and I don't get a great deal of action in my front yard so it only wakes up maybe 4-6 times a day. I don't know how to judge the time between recharging by I think I will definitely get a month out of this. With the magnetic base the camera module itself can be moved into hundreds of positions on the base. As for installing the software. If you are a normal type of use and have never used google home / nest products before you will probably have yours up and running in about 10 minutes. The process is supposed to be super simple and that is what I was expecting. If your email is on google enterprise (as mine was) and you have other google products or an old nest account you will want to shoot yourself by the time you get this installed. I had all the applications I needed on my phone but they were pointing to the only email I have which was an enterprise account. I kept getting stuck in an endless loop of trying to migrate from nest to google home. even after uninstalling all the products there were still issues. So I should have followed the advice of others and just created a new gmail account which I ended up doing. However on an android phone with probably some remains of my old accounts I still was unable to set this up. I had to go to an old ipad of mine that had never had any of this software. Once I did this I was up and running in about 5 minutes. You only really get one sheet of documentation with the device and it is in about a 5 point font which is tough on us old farts. Once I got the software up and running it was fun. I was able to tell the device what I wanted it to clue in on (people, packages, pets....) and I was also able to setup a notification scheme. So now I get notified when someone is at the door. THis is helpful as packages are stolen often in my neighborhood. I did not setup the additional package of home away assist but it appears that if you link your account to your phone it senses when your phone is home or not and you can modify your notifications accordingly. Now that i have it setup I love the product and will probably get a few more.
