I have the google nest hub and thermostats, and have gotten very accustomed to the Google Home interface. My previous home camera was very basic and constantly glitched - only really want one to keep track of packages left on my porch. The nest cam set up was incredibly simple and it is connected to my home app. Video quality is amazing, and it covers a much bigger area than my old camera. I can clearly see the entire front porch and my walkway, too. It doesn't come with a stand, and since I didn't want to mount it to the inside of my window frame, I ordered the stand from the Google store and it should be arriving soon. Highly recommend!

I love the over all look of this camera and the battery on this camera is holding up very well it last a long time. I love how nice of picture quality this camera gives out and how you can use this indoor or outdoors it also holds up to many weather conditions. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Google Nest Cam is for indoor or outdoor use. The clarity is great indoors and outdoors. It was easy to install as well. This camera is used in conjunction with the Google Home app. You will get alerts right in the app. You can set very specific alerts, like to alert for people but not animals. You can adjust it to a specific zone/area so that you don't get alerts for things like a tree blowing in the breeze. All in all this is a great camera, easy to set up and use.

The picture you get is HD, color, and it works in the dark. The other thing we love is that you can see everything from your phone or tablet. We recommend buying this camera!

Also, I'm glad that it doesn't have any wiring, or hard to to hook up features for someone like myself (I'm not as tech fluent as others probably). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am new to the Nest/Google ecosystem, and thus far it's been a pleasant surprise. The packaging was outstanding, everything was nicely organized and strategically placed. The instructions were clear and precise, and took me all of a few minutes to setup. The camera is well constructed with a heavy, premium-feeling, the magnetic mount is solid and firmly holds the camera in place. The camera itself was larger than anticipated, about twice as large as other cams around my home, but I found the image quality to be great. I use the camera indoors and I really appreciate the fact it can be configured to only activate when I'm away from home so that I'm not inundated with alerts as I move about my home, and for this reason battery life has been exceptional. Not a big fan of the Google Home app however, can definitely use some improvements in this department, but overall it appears to be a quality product.

I can check in on them when I'm not home and it makes me feel safe that they are doing ok and not getting into too much trouble. Since my cats have their own room I know there is a good place to put the camera but this would be a great camera to put also outside for security too. I like how easy it is to use.
