[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great item, not only is this nest cam perfectly sized, it is made durable and easily able to use and, more importantly you can use it indoors and outdoors and it has a 3-hour storage for your icloud. I am currently using it indoors as I recently got a puppy. It is an awesome cam and now I can keep an eye out for my pup. Absolutely love it!

Will need to purchase more to fully secure the house. The magnetic mount makes installation easy. You just download the app. Follow the set up steps and you have a live camera with microphone and recording. I feel more secure when my husband travels.

I can safely say Nest have just made this a killer product, with the ease of indoor/outdoor use and the battery operated functionality with stick and use. My 1st gen is now retired and this has taken over for outside duties. and when i am away i plan to shift it indoors for security coverage!

There is an option to leave it plugged in, but you have to buy a special outdoor cable if you want it outside. It took 7 tries to get this set up. Sigh. The app kept telling me that "something went wrong during setup" but it wouldn't tell me what. The FAQs weren't helpful and there was no easy to find help line. I also tried to install it at the workplace for some security issues there but couldn't get it to work through the security firewall. Eventually got it to work, though and think I will be happy with it.

I love that this camera is integrated with Google. Set-up was a mostly a breeze. The picture and sound quality seem to be good too. I also like the sleekness and simplicity of design. Might be nice to have offered in a handful of colors to make it blend in more but that is not a very big deal to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already owns several Google nest products, including the amazing Nest thermostat. This camera exceeded my expectations, just like the thermostat. The best thing about it, is the easy installation, since I am not very handy. This is weatherproof and can be used indoor or outdoor. It has a recharger lithium battery, and the video quality is top notch. I already have the Google home app, and installation and syncing was a breeze. One thing to keep in mind. You need to remove the camera to charge the battery. I have my Nest floodlight camera hardwired just below my roof, 20 ft high. You need to put this camera somewhere where it's relatively easy to access, for recharging. I'm going to be purchasing one more to cover a back area of the house. I enjoy the security these cameras provide, when I'm not home! This is another great Nest product!

However, I have avoided them in the past due to the very costly subscriptions required to get a decent product experience out of them. Google has increased the functionality of the products without a plan, and lowered the cost of the subscriptions. This is a beautiful little camera that requires no wires for ease of installation. If you want to put up a camera without drilling for wires give this camera a look.

It's weatherproof so it is protected from water. The app is easy to use and works great. The picture is clear and good quality. Definitely recommend this camera.
