very disappointed

I already own a 65" 7 series and I love it. I bought this 6 series because the price was right and I was looking for another tv. The difference between the two is eyeopening. The picture is much too dark despite trying every adjustment possible. I gave it to a friend and bought an 8 series which I love.

What Happened To Samsung Quality

I got this TV in December 2019 and have hated it every since. I was thinking it would be an upgrade to my 5 year old 60" Samsung because of the 4K, but that's not the case. My old TV was much better, in fact I have a 10 year old 50" (beast) that is so much better. The sound is awful and had to invest in a soundbar just to get some minimal sound quality. The adjustments for HDMI sound are a joke. Bottom line, this is junk and I should have known better based on the price, but have a long experience with Samsung's good quality. But this is so far below. I'm now shopping for another TV only 4 months after buying this one.

Stopped Working 2 months after purchase

I bought this in Nov 2019 and almost right away there minor were issues that could be corrected by unplugging the and plugging it back in. More serious issues began and now the tv won't turn on. I've been in touch with Samsung support the entire time and they've been useless. When the smart service did work it was sluggish, and would constantly sign me out of my account. The HDMI inputs would stop working then start again. The TV is useless now, I hit the power button and the status light blinks and nothing happens. Absolutely do not buy and do not rely on the warranty

returned same day it was purchased

I was very excited to bring this tv home. Everything seemed to work fine once it was set up. When I tried to turn the tv on later in the day, the tv would not turn on. I looked online to see if others have had this problem and I discovered this is a known issue. I had to unplug the tv to allow it to reset. It did turn back on after resetting, but I couldn't image having to repeatedly do this just to turn on the tv. I returned the tv same day and exchanged it for an LG television. I have been very impressed so far with the LG tv.

So glad I bought this!

The picture is great! Pretty good sound, for TV speakers. Bluetooth WOULD have been great; but, I don't think we'll miss it. (FYI, the screws for the feet are taped to one of the wrappers.) Smart Features are easy to use. Would definitely get another one... if we had room for it! Lol!!

Great at first...then not

this was a fantastic tv for a year. right after the 1 year warranty was up, the picture is bleached out. still has a picture but it's mostly white. i have had nothing but good experiences with samsung tvs up until this one. would not recommend this model! and based on my research, this is a very common problem that i with samsung would step up and address.

A failure across the board.

Although this TV is still operating after 6 years, it has never stopped being a royal pain when it comes to ease of use, speaker issues, and picture control. The ongoing automatic brightness and dimming problem works in precisely the opposite way it should. Even switching off all options for energy conservation, contrast balance, and ambient light adjustment, the picture continues to go noticeably dimmer on DARK scenes and noticeably brighter on LIGHT scenes. The speakers "pop" sometimes when you skip forward or backward while streaming, however that seems more dependent on the service. There should be a feedback safety for this reason. The menu and on-screen indicator functionality is also unpleasant and, after an update, has gotten worse when Samsung forced the "hub" menu to default to "Universal Guide" selection when pressing the Home button, instead of the Source or Settings selection like it used to be; zero option has been given to change that back. It honestly feels like it's not our TV anymore if they can just change how it works without any input or control from us. We're also not a fan of the very large opaque volume indicator appearing on-screen covering up a significant portion of the picture. Older models had simple translucent graphic bars showing the level that didn't interfere with the experience. Why does Samsung reinvent the wheel?!

Great Tv so far

I actually just bought the Tv not long ago. I've owned a few 4K TVs in the past but this one is the best. Quality is great. Sound is great. Love the fact that has Apple Music, Apple TV and Airplay. Not sure what the complaints are. Also if this Tv last me a year or longer, I'm happy

Not too bad

I just bought this TV a few days ago, and while I admit, I haven't watched a ton and am barely learning the ins and outs of the remote and all the features, I will have to wait until I have more time to review. That being said, thus far, it seems very similar to my 10 year old Samsung, the only reason I purchased a new one was because I wanted something a little less bulky and easier for one person to move.

Less than 1 year old and issues arising

The picture is great and features ok. But the TV restarts at least every few hours for no reason. Also when first started loses volume on the program, need to change channels to get it back. Quite annoying for a premium TV. This may be my Last Samsung TV purchase.
